i dont know why. they just are.
They make a great team! Like when they were in the chariot races!
they have been through so much together and work great as a team!
He remembered her when his memory was wiped. Most brilliant thing EVER. Most romantic kiss, holding hands while literally going to hell and back, Percy being there when Annabeth wanted to listen to the Sirens and when the spiders scared her in the first book, sooooo many reasons. She always believed in him, right from the start even when she thought he was an idiot. :')

I was waiting for both of them to kiss in the first book itself, but I dont why. Maybe they are made for each other.
omg when annabeth first kissed him in the battle of the labyrinth, I knew that they were going to be a couple!! i actually got surprised and exited at the same time!!!! :))

i think its not just all that but cause her mom is athena and his dad is poseidon that makes it like not suppose to happen but it did like in the first book how when they went to auntys em and she wanted to kill annabeth cause she dint like her mom but she liked percy cause of his dad and thats one reason why there soo good for each other!

Why? Let me think. Well maybe because of the true love that both had for each other. Unlike 'TWILIGHT SAGA' and all we can see that neither Percy nor Annabeth is concerned about his/her partner's look. They were there for each other no matter what happened. Even in hell. So.. Hell yeah! They are the best couple.
