Rowena Sudbury (rowenasudbury) | 53 comments Hi everyone! Those who know me know that I tend to be shy, and avoid "putting myself out there"...but one of my New Year's Resolutions is to get over that, so here I am. Any questions? Requests? I'm here for you! My latest release with Dreamspinner is Blue Moon, a contemporary BDSM/Kink *gasp* romance.

Fascinating, Rowena. The blurp is thrilling. Good luck with this :)

Rowena Sudbury (rowenasudbury) | 53 comments Thank you Susan! I'm itching to start on the editing! Of course, I should just go ahead and get to work on the third book while I'm waiting... ;)

Start writing! Always write when you've got the spark. And it'll keep you in the right mindset when the edits come in. Go, girl :)

Oh, a side question: Will there be a sequel to Blue Moon? I really loved it.

I agree totally...right now though I don't have the spark. Too many RL things crowding in on the brain. So, instead I'm writing myself notes, and when I get past these few barriers it will all come spilling out!

As a matter of fact, yes I am considering a sequel for Blue Moon. I even have the title...Red Sunset.

I think I mentioned that the ending scene in Blue Moon is based on a memory of mine. Well, it turns out I left myself a bread crumb trail in Blue Moon. I mentioned that Scott is from Kentucky. I lived in Kentucky myself for a while...and I have a memory of swimming in a rock quarry as the sun was setting. Of course, that would be the ending scene for the story!

Now this is beginning to sound more and more enticing :) Red Sunset. Ah... Yes, you did mention that in the other thread about the RL experience.

So...you're considering this sequel? Or...you're like a hundred words from having it all nice and ready for us? No pressure! :D

Good luck with it!

*g* Considering it....I have notes written (an outline)...but want to work on the Medieval story first. OTOH, one never knows when the characters will get loud :)

Ain't that the truth? :D

Well, I'll be patient. You'll keep us apprised, won't you?

Oh, I checked out your website. Loved the simple design of it. Not too crowded or stuffed at all :)

Yes...there are times when all my characters play nice and are quiet, and then there are other times when they're all demanding. Right now most of them are quiet. I know it won't be forever though. Unfortunately I spent my free time over Christmas break working on an idea that didn't go anywhere. I think The King's Son, and Red Sunset are both viable projects, so hopefully I'll get to one of them soon.

Thanks! I don't know if you mean the LiveJournal site or my "real" website. That one is VERY simple....I'm not really a whiz with HTML ;)

Susan Laine (susan_laine_author) | 391 comments LiveJournal. Where you mentioned the unofficial blurp about The King's Heart.

I'll await to hear from you about your ongoing projects. Don't rush. Better a polished story than a rush job. I'm sure both stories will turn out well. BTW, just bought King's Tale two days ago, so it should go on my reading list soon :) My first medieval m/m!

I'm going to be moving my domain name to the Live Journal sometime soon. Thanks for commenting on it, I've been working on it to make it a one-stop place for all things Rowena Sudbury :)

Oh yay! I'm glad...that book is my HEART! I love it, and I love sharing it with people. I hope you like it!

Susan Laine (susan_laine_author) | 391 comments The style of the Magic of Lammas was very good. Your use of period language and your knowledge of all of that historical details and the mood were all very compelling. I'm sure King's Tale will reflect that same professionalism, high quality and pulling of heartstrings I've come to expect from you :)
