Juniper (jooniperd) | 65 comments Hello!

I am having a bit of trouble with a book I am currently reading: Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea. I am reading the paperback edition yet the update to page progress is only offered in e-reader % instead of an actual page number. I have double-checked the book's details but I can't sort out why this is happening? My only thought is maybe, at some point when a combine happened, the % somehow became the default setting?? Anyway, if anyone can help with this I would be very appreciative!

Thank you!

Shay | 177 comments Click on the % sign. It's actually a link. Clicking on it will return it to the page number.

Juniper (jooniperd) | 65 comments Hmmm...when I click on the % sign, it just takes me into my reading progress for the book and doesn't change (or offer an alternative format). Sorry!!! I am really not that dumb! LOL!!!

Edit: I did have one of my friends, who is also a librarian, look at this last night too...and she couldn't sort it out either.

Several times. :/ It's' a weird one.

Shay | 177 comments Did you do it from your main GR home page? On the right? I just checked, mine wasn't saving it as pages either. It would kick it back to percentages when I refreshed the page.

This worked, though. From the GR home page, click on the book's "Update Status" link. Click on percentage. This is the important part... you must input a page number you're on for it to save it as pages. Even if you just input, say, page 20, you have to put something there or it will just kick it back to percentages. Then Click, "save progress". I refreshed and it did save it doing it this way.

YAY!!!!!

Thank you so much, Shay! That fixed it. This is the only time I have ever encountered this issue. Other times, the clicking on percentage thing works, straight away. I don't know why this one was sort of clunky, in contrast. Weird. I really appreciate your help!
