Hi,
Could you kindly give the reviews on these books? I am keen to read some of these books you have mentioned.

Many thanks
G

Umang (umang7) | 127 comments Well upto $10 (800/-) in 2 months on an average. The disease being I have boarded up books and haven’t been reading them.

Do you think Kindle is better than paper? Is it worth the trade off ?

Shrikanth Venne | 4971 comments I have stopped buying books. I have piled up so much books that I am unable to read those. The count would be around 100 books that I yet to read.
Mostly I read copies of author who wants review.
So Stopped spending on books. Only buy books if they are series and if its Nicholas Sparks book.

tazmeen ✨ (tazz_meen) | 1013 comments I don't think I can count how much I've spent on books alone. But will be higher than 4k for sure. I rarely buy physical books cuz it's sooo expensive here in my country. So E-books it is. E-books aren't that expensive.

So yeah I spend about 5k for a months of books.

The Wanderer I prefer library copies or second hand books sometimes. Only few books I've kept over the years

Utkrisht Fella (sourabhmathur) | 4 comments Ah, the age-old question that makes my wallet nervous! 😄
I tend to splurge quite a bit on books both for myself and now, interestingly, for my 9-year-old who has proudly joined the ranks of book hoarders in the family. It’s hard to resist when your idea of indulgence is a cart full of unread titles and the joy of discovering hidden gems.

Apart from books, I also collect coins and currency (numismatics is my second passion), so between books and rare coins, let’s just say my Amazon wish list and eBay watchlist are always active!

I don’t set a strict monthly budget, if something truly calls out to me, I go for it. After all, books and coins are the kind of wealth that only appreciate over time - some in value, others in wisdom.

Curious to know how others balance passion with discipline when it comes to buying books. Or have you also surrendered, like me? 😅
