Hernan Hernandez | 13 comments The location of the place is a Castle in Transylvania, it appears run down as if though it has been abandoned. The interior however is filled with expensive items which have been very well kept as they look brand new. There is however little light that can bee seen through out the castle which is lit mainly by candle/oil lamps. The characters are the coach driver, Dracula, and The narrator, both the coach driver and Dracula seem to share a sense of mystery which is only heightened by their incredible strength and skills, They almost seem inhuman as if they were one in the same and a unison of one being having been separated. The traveler on the other hand; a young naive business man, a stranger to the places customs. While the coach driver and the traveler are in a hurry to reach their destination several places along the way cause distress in both the horses and the passenger. while the driver is perfectly calm almost extremely so under the event of fierce wolfs surrounding the coach under the moonlight.when they finally reach their destination the passengers host helps ease him by welcoming him into his home and caring for him personally. the main conflict with this is that the man knows little of the land and person he is visiting. therefore he knows not what to expect. should he be afraid of his host or is it all just over thought rubbish? My opinion is that it seems that although his host is being polite and tender, he seems almost to well mannered and as pointed out in the book the vitality about him for his age seems astonishing.
