In case you haven't been watching Season 2 as the episodes come out, you might have no idea what I'm talking about. Recently, in the 2nd episode of Season 2, Nina removed the Cup from its hiding place and freed a shadow/ ghost like woman who told her to find the Mask of Anubis or die. Who is she? I think she's evil.

Yeah, my friend told me that too. I wonder what she wants with the mask and what she'll do with it when she gets it. She told Nina to bring her the Mask of Anubis. I'm assuming that Nina will have to forfeit her life to Senkhara.
So she's being blackmailed.... And of course she's evil... if she wasn't, they wouldn't make her black, they'd make her white like Sarah was when Sarah came to Nina's dreams.
Maybe... It's all a trick and she's somehow good. Maybe she needs the mask to help Anubis himself but is unable to get it herself because only the "chosen one" or another mortal has the ability to retrieve the mask. She could possibly be cursed by Anubis for some wring doing and charged with having to bring the mask back to him, or something happened and she was the one who let Sarah's parents get away with the cup and the mask(if they got it, we don't know for sure yet) so, she has to get it and bring it back to the tomb of the King. Also, maybe she's like a good spirit and the mask or some other spirit or something has like afflicted her with some "disease" that makes her black and all "forfeit-your-life-ish*Can't wait for the next episode!
SIBUNA!
Maybe Senkhara is sort of married to Anubis or they are "siblings". They are the God and Goddess of Death. Which relates them to each other. So, Senkhara is trying to retrieve it for Anubis, and is against Victor and his pals?!

But, probabaly not before our anxiousness gets the best of all of us!
Anubis only helps guide the dead so they can get judged so it's possible that Senkhara is the goddess of death.
She could be a spirit that protects the cup, she may not even be a goddess. The word sankhara is very close to the name Senkhara. It can mean -that which has been put together or -fabrication. So they may have named the spirit after that. It could be a clever play on words name. Sankhara is a term used in the teachings of Buddha.Just some info that may contribute to the identitry of the Spirit Senkhara
She's definitely evil. Even Wikipedia says she's an antagonist. Here's my proof: 1) "YOU HAVE FREED ME, CHOSEN ONE.
2) She gave Fabian and Nina "curses" in their dreams and is coming after amber.
3) her spirit is black which OBVIOUSLY indicates she's evil… I mean even a two year old can guess that. And nick isn't just gonna change that affiliation of black equalling evil
4) She will kill SIBUNA if they don't find that mask
How could she be a protagonist??
I agree with you Rebecca's, but Im not sure if you could trust wikipedia. Most of its sources aren't reliable. And how did people get the name Senkhara? But I believe that she is part of Egyptian mythology. The evil kind........
Not saying your wrong, but putting another spin on this for the fun of it and because i have a brain that likes to over-analize things, she could be a protagonist. ... How? you ask, well I will tell you. She could be promoting them to get the mask, because without her, they might not have been as consistant and continuous and fast-acting in their efforts to reach the mask, she may also, be inadvertadly somehow be helping them, like maybe she can get the book of Isis for them, but she needs the mask of Anubis or something. Once again, this is probably way off from the truth, but It's me and my over-analizing brain.
I agree with you Chloe too. You know how they always do that, make a surprise at the end. Last season's surprise was that the clues were actually peices

Oh I wasn't on the connections page lately. But who in Egyptian mythology is Senkhara? Maybe that's her cover name?
Christian wrote: "Oh I wasn't on the connections page lately. But who in Egyptian mythology is Senkhara? Maybe that's her cover name?"Your right maybe it could be a cover name.
Or maybe they wanted to twist up mythology. Maybe they wanted to make up some kind of friend of Anubis. But these are only predictions. Only time will tell us if the predictions are right.
* spoiler alert* when she pushed Nina off the cliff, she said something about how she could be replaced. So does that mean there's more than one chosen one?
I'm sure there are others but they probably aren't within reach. Most likely to not be one of the people we see in the show but someone new.
Maybe. But she would have to wait a long time to get the mask, and by then victor would've already gotten the mask.
I can agree with both points, although isn't The Chosen One is the last in the bloodline due to her birthday or something? But I guess there could be another Chosen One way down the line.
But if Nina's the only Chosen One so far, I think Senkhara could also mean that she can find someone just as worthy of being chosen without actually being chosen.
Or she could just be totally bluffing for all we know.
Man, she's one tough spirit to figure out. Lol. But then again, we're only on week 2.
I think she's made up just for the show too cuz she's not in Egyptian mythology or history unlike Ankhesenamun, Tut's wife & for whom the Cup is named after.

Sandra wrote: "OMG! you're smart! YEs! I totally see it! Maybe she's Ankhesenamun's sister or something."Thanks I kind of feel smart too. :)
Christian wrote: "* spoiler alert* when she pushed Nina off the cliff, she said something about how she could be replaced. So does that mean there's more than one chosen one?"Maybe it is just showing that she will result to anyone, so to have the mask retrieved
The only person in Egyptian history whose name is slightly close to Senkhara is Smenkhkare, the successor to & bro of Akhenaten (Ankhesenamun's father), making him Ankhesenamun's uncle.I know Wikipedia isn't always reliable, but I thought these were interesting theories on Smenkhkare, but they probably really have no connection to Senkhhara or HOA:
