I'm not too sure I would want to take that challenge. Would take too long and would be way to weird. But your right, it seems like the number rises exponentially over the course of the series. It was one of the reasons I quit reading them. It went from stories with plots and interesting mysteries, to interjecting a few things here and there between sex scenes. It resembles a porn story nowmore than anything else.
LOL, I think that would have to be someone that is beyond bored out of their minds or THAT in love with the series. And even then I think it is impossible to do that with any characters from a UF type of book. They are usually swapping so many partners or just adding to the collection that one can never fully keep up.

Any device used to measure that would self-destruct...
I've seen a site that has done this already! Even done a line graph. I thought at first the sex was an interesting inclusion in the story lines then it started getting ridiculous but Im still a fan and will finish the series.

It was the fact that Anita just seemed to lose herself so far into that paranormal side of things. I mean her job was no more, she was nearly every title under the paranormal cap, and her harem just kept growing and growing. But mainly the loss of self is what threw me out of the series all those years ago. As I love a tough ass kicking chick. But she has to stay true to some part of herself. Other wise she gets too consumed in other stuff and there is barely nothing left to recognize any more.
I just looked everywhere for the link but I cant find it argh!! I know Ive seen it- it was a really comprehensive site, it also had a detailed event timeline on it as well. I think it was in french and I had to use google translator to read it properly?? Sorry
There seems to be a chart around on here:http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/4...
(at least Google says so).

I wouldn't even try. I really lost interest in these books because of all of the sex. I liked it better when she at least solved cases. It was just about the men after a while. She seemed to have lost some of the toughness she had in the first few book.
Anita started out on a journey in this series. I do not want to follow her any more on her travels. I really enjoyed the series and afer reading the last two, ('cause everyone has to pay the mortgage, right?) I am ready to walk away from the whole thing and give the books to the library to sell in their bookstore.
If my library had a bookstore like that I would be more than willing to give mine up as well. I'll probably have to ask if they accept donations or not. As I have tons of other books I want to get rid of too.
Remember the sort of flow chart they made on the L Word? Anita gets it in, that's for sure. I can't imagine having the time for such an undertaking.

It would also be interesting to graph the number of encounters each novel. Looking at the trend over time and comparing books would be a laugh.
