Want To Be A Mod?

Age: 16 (... and a half)
Gender: female
Why you want to be a mod: I like contributing to groups and sometimes I have great ideas for new games, polls, reads, discussions etc. (Person: "pssh! She just likes taking charge")
What you can do: Um, not exactly sure what you mean. But I can be the one to handle with spamming and rule breaking. (ask me to change my answer if needed)
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers?: I don't approve of spamming but I do think everyone needs to do it once in a while or their spam bubble builds up and they ends up writing SPAM 300 times. I can't criticize inactive members because I tend to become one in some groups (but I won't in this one!). If I become mod, I'll try my best to keep everyone active. Rulebreakers irk me. I think it's stupid that you put the rules up and they just... I don't know... break them. Yup... those are my thoughts.
How many people have you invited?: 279
What is a suggestion for this group: BLOGS

Age: 12 (turning 13 in about a week)

Why you want to be a mod: I would like to be a mod because I like to help people out, I like to keep things in order, and I believe I can be firm yet gentle when giving out punishments or stuff like that (although I haven't done it much, and don't like to)
What you can do: I can organize, and mainly I like to read through topics briefly everytime I'm on just to see what's going on, so I know if someone is God Modding/breaking rules, etc.
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers?: I like to give them a warning, then another, then they are given a message on how they are acting. If they keep doing this, I'm afraid I'll boot them out. I don't like spam, it causes confusion and clogs topics, and it is frustrating with inactive members, so once someone goes inactive without telling me for more than two weeks, they are kicked out. Rule breakers I would give a coupl chances, until they knew that what they were doing was wong. If they don't pay attention, they are also kicked out. (Sorry if I sounded harsh)
How many people have you invited? Around 15. Most of my friends were already invited.
What is a suggestion for this group: Will message you.
Other: I am a mod in a couple other groups, so I have experience.
Thanks for the application guys! :D

Age: 13

Why you want to be a mod: Well, it always seems like it helps a lot more if there are a lot of mods so I usually volunteer and it's pretty fun. And I'm pretty good at organization. I like to keep the group up and runningand interesting.
What you can do: I'm good at organization and I like to keep groups clean and organized. I'm also a big roleplayer. I like to add cool and fun things into groups.
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers? Spamming annoys me sooooooooooo much. Inactive members are even worse. Whenever I create a group my number one rule is be active and nobody ever listens. So I boot them out after a few days if they don't listen. Rule breakers are also on my list of pet peeves. They never quite realize that rules are not meant to be broken. Forget that stupid proverb "Rules are meant to be broken".
How many people have you invited? (Minimum must be more than 5.) 37. Anyone who is random and/or good at roleplaying and being active.
What is a suggestion for this group: I shall message you as soon as I can. (Pretty soon)
Other: Uh...... I'm random???????

Why you want to be a mod: This group seems really cool, and I want to feel like I can contribute to it a lot and I think it will be fun. :D
What you can do: I'm good at enforcing rules, and I comment a lot.
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers? I don't think those people should be kicked out of the group. i think instead they should be given maybe 3-5 warnings and if they continue, they should be kicked out.
How many people have you invited? (Minimum must be more than 5.) Um, only 5, but that's only because I just started a new GR account b/c GR deleted my other one when the server crashed, so I don't have many friends, and all my other ones are already in this group.
What is a suggestion for this group: (MESSAGE ME!) I'll message you!!
Other: I'm creative and I tend to get very cool ideas sometimes, and I also have an awesome sense of humor (not that has to do with anything).

Why you want to be a mod: I would like to be a mod because I can pretty much be your secretary. I do anything and everything the head mod tells me to do. I don't do paperwork though, lol.
What you can do: Whatever you want me to do lol!
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers?~ Well, on spamming, I don't care if it gets a little spammy, but once all you do on a topic is talk even when it's for something else, that's when it gets out of hand. Once you notice that there is an inactive member, send the group a message saying that all members that haven't been active since a certain time will have like, 3 weeks to get active again, and if they do not, they are deleted. Rule breakers: Kinda like baseball. Three bad offenses, and they're out.

Other: I try to have fun with the other members and don't act like I actually am a mod until nessicary.

Why you want to be a mod: I want to be a mod because I enjoy helping and volunteering and being able to contribute and help make the group better and make sure it stays awesome :)
What you can do:uhhh anything? Haha :3 well I'm really organized and an active person(meaning I comment a lot) also I have experience so I know how to enforce rules and keep groups active. I'm generally a nice person so I'm easy to get along with and I won't like make people hate this group..? Haha. Well yeah....
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers? um spamming is an issue. It happens a lot but it's something people do so it's like warn the person, delete the comment move on- but if they keep doing it. Then its just ridiculous and the person needs a real talking to and maybe even kicked out- inactive members... They ma have excuses but after awhile and if they have like 0 comments then I just believe the need a warning message but after awhile the need to be deleted... Rule breakers I find are annoying and kind of attention seekers.
How many people have you invited? (Minimum must be more than 5.) 89.
What is a suggestion for this group: (MESSAGE ME!) a book chatting folder. I mean- goodreads is about READING! Haha so maybe like add a place where people ca talk and chat about their favorite books!
Other:im awesome :D haha lol. I'm creative and funny and just im epierenced and am a great person? Haha idk

Why you want to be a mod: I want to help out with you and make this group the best out of all of them!
What you can do: Whatever a mod does. ;)
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers? Spammers=Spamming people who spam wherever they want to do it but really should do it somewhere else so then our topics are nice and clean....Inactive members=Why are you here? Did you just press join for nothing? Seriously, they should leave if they don't want to actually be in the group, because this group is for the elite peoplez! Rule Breakers= Follow the rules please! Kicking out people is not the best thing a mod can do...in fact, we hate doing it.
How many people have you invited? (Minimum must be more than 5.) Like six, since like all of my friends already joined. ;)

Why you want to be a mod: I don't really know, actually. I'm just up for a new challenge. And there's that 'eureka' moment:
"I KNOW! I'LL MOD A GROUP!"
Nah, it didn't happen that way. I just, you know. Apply, if I get it, I get it and set for my challenge. If I don't, well....
I help out as much as I can as a member!
What you can do: Ask me I'll give it a shot.
What are your thoughts on Spamming, inactive members and rule breakers? To me, spamming is telling everyone that you don't know where or what a 'Chat' topic is. If it's a quick question, it's fine, but not a whole conversation placed in the wrong folder!
Inactive members, I can understand a little bit more further. It might be school, a job, or they just want a break from Goodreads. Being inactive too long isn't a good thing, but people have lives to get to.
Rule breakers are disrespectful, as if they don't know what a rule is. It's okay the first time, but if the process is repeated, it gets people ticked off, including me. If the process is repeated, it means that they just come here to tick off people for their own entertainment.
How many people have you invited? (Minimum must be more than 5.) Um... about 6? Just the friends that might be interested. Not all of them, since that would be just bugging some of them.

Other: Mods or nons, let's make this a great group, aight?

Just fill it out, and remember- The More People you invite, the better chance you get to be a mod. Also, you must have a verified email address, or Goodreads won't let me add you.
