I was a Jacob girl until the last book and then I kind of fell for Edward. Well if I was into vampires anyhow...lol
7. Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. The third and last YA for a while I think. I need a break from all that teenage angst.
As for Jacob (eclipse) I think I like the under dog... No pun intended.
10. Breathless by Dean KoontzIt's been too busy lately to read much, luckily summer vacation is almost here!
11. The Wildwater Walking Club by Claire Cook12. The Summer Guest by Justin Cronin.....LOVED This book!!!!

L, I just added The Summer Guest to my "to read" list. Hope to read it THIS summer.
13. The Night Strangers by Chris Bohjalian. Another good one from Bohjalian. I didn't like the ending, but love how he ends books with such unexpected twists.
L, I love Chris Bohjalian but I often struggle through his books as I read them and then close the last page only to say "wow, that was awesome!"
Andrea wrote: "L, I love Chris Bohjalian but I often struggle through his books as I read them and then close the last page only to say "wow, that was awesome!""His books are worth the struggle. "Awesome" is usually what I say too.
18.Gone Girl by Gillian FlynnWOW!!! If a book ever deserved its hype it would be this one. I'm emotionally drained from reading it. I hated the characters yet this is probably my favorite book of the year so far.
Cooking with My Sisters: One Hundred Years of Family Recipes, from Bari to Big Stone Gap by Adriana TrigianiPart memoir part cookbook.

Looks like you read this in August and I just finished it. I agree my favorite book this year. I woke-up early and stayed-up late to finish it. It couldn't have ended any other way. My new favorite author.

My favorites are Skeletons at the Feast, Midwives and the Double Bind. I did not finish Water Witches or the Buffalo Soldier. I just couldn't connect with the story. I just bought the Night Strangers. Have you read it?
Vicki, I have read Before You Know Kindness, The Law of Similars, and Midwives.
I have the Double Blind, but I have not read it

Andrea, do you recommend Before You Know Kindness and The Law of Similars? The Double Bind is one of his books that may be a struggle to get through. Once you finish the book you will be amazed you didn't see the end coming.
Vicki, they were both very good. I really just love the way he writes though. In one of his book trailers I watched on his web site he says they he just loves writing about women and children and the family. It really shows because he gives them all depth and life.
Andrea, both books are already on my to-read list so I can't wait to read them. Thanks so much for letting me know you liked them.

I had this one for a while before reading it too. It's a page turner and a little creepy too. Enjoy!
25. I'd Like to Apologize to Every Teacher I Ever Had: My Year as a Rookie Teacher at Northeast High by Tony DanzaWho knew he wanted to be a teacher once upon a time or that such a tough guy could be so emotional?
I just picked up Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs too. It sure does look rather creepy!
