Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments Good to know to not call you that in the future!
That would be seriously cool! They can't fail everyone if they aren't there right! (although they probably have some sort of loophole...)

message 11102: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Like making everyone come in the next day and taking them all at once? Or arresting us for not being in school?

Yeah. Probably.

message 11105: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Oh, it's fine. I don't think anyone really cares anymore. I think I've one several times, now. Mostly, we just sit around and talk. How are you?

message 11106: by Natty (new)

Natty | 251 comments wow i really didn't think this thing was still going

message 11107: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments I'm always interested in keeping it up. It's not like I'm doing anything terribly exciting anyways

message 11108: by Natty (new)

Natty | 251 comments bummer, so hows life

message 11109: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments alright. I've been copying all the stuff I wrote this year on paper onto my computer. So not fun.

message 11110: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) Yeah id say not :(

message 11111: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments It's agonizing. Especially when the day outside is so nice

message 11115: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments :D

message 11116: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments let me be the first to admit that I have no life.

Don't want to read, don't want to write.

Just want to sit on my computer and be lazy.

message 11117: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments lol I believe everyone has days like that (for me it's most of the year...)

message 11118: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments YES! Whilst doing random searches on Google and staring at a tray of cookies and wishing they were blue, I discovered a party plan to throw Percy Jackson a bday party without him!

Someone better help me do this...

message 11119: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Is it sad that I'm sort of really excited about this?

message 11120: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments what may be more sad is I'm a bit excited and I haven't even seen the plan... and I know plenty of people who would join me in throwing such a party XD

message 11122: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments O.O that is awesome!!! people should do this kinda stuff for all book characters' birthdays

message 11123: by Madeleine (last edited Jun 09, 2013 07:20PM) (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments When's Clary Fray's? Dumbledore's? Annebeth's? Jay Gatsby's? Holden Caulfield's? Hazel Grace's? Marry Poppins'?

Goodreads should have a group appointed to throwing birthday parties for characters' birthdays ever day of the year.

message 11124: by Madeleine (last edited Jun 09, 2013 10:51PM) (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Here's how you know when you're devoted to a piece of writing you're working on:

You stay up until past one, searching the web for famous waltzes your characters can comment on to make the story more realistic for your readers. And you listen to each of them all the way through, then research the composers.

And really, when you love doing it, it's not so much as a boring research project as a fun exhibition to learn something new.

message 11125: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments God, I love writing.

message 11126: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments I take back what I said. Writing sucks.

message 11127: by Natty (new)

Natty | 251 comments why the change of mind

message 11128: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Sitting in the uncomfortable heat of the summer afternoon, trying to finish the book that I've been dreaming about writing for six years, the novel I want to debut with, I'm starting to realize how hard writing is when you have to write alone.

message 11129: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments It's easing when you have cheerleaders, but alone?
Against the wind?
Uphill both ways?
It's hard.

message 11130: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Hey-

I remember that.
Those were fun times.

Let's be the old geezers from the Muppet Show and reminisce together, eh Shab?

message 11131: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments So where've you been? I've gotten lonely. It's very dark and dusty in here, what, with no one around...

message 11132: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments Hey guys! i see you're reminiscing...

message 11133: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Hey Jazz! :)

message 11134: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments Shab! Madeleine! ^__^

message 11135: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments All we're missing is balloons. Then we could throw a party.

message 11136: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments And cake (of some sort)... every party needs cake-like things!

message 11137: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments I had three cup cakes for breakfast this morning. Then some gelato for lunch.

I decided not to be healthy today. Screw running.

message 11138: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments XD I don't even think I ate any meals today... I only ate some rice cakes, potato chips, a freezie, cookies, and water.

message 11139: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments What's a freezie?

ooo. Cookies. I like cookies. :)

message 11140: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments You know not of freezies? o.O
Well, they are basically flavoured ice in a plastic tube-like bag thing.

message 11141: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments *tilts head curiously*

So kinda like a slushie or a slurpie?

message 11142: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments Yup, except when you first get it, it's more like a popsicle until it melts a bit.

message 11143: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments Oh. That's cool.

message 11144: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments I guess so...

message 11145: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments I am super hungry. And the fridge is empty. :(

Maybe I could make some pizzelles....

Nope. Too lazy.

message 11146: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments Apparently I'm going out for supper today with family...
and what's a pizzelle?

message 11147: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments A pizzelle is an amazing Italian cookie that is essentially a hard pancake with a fancy pattern on it but also tastes a lot better.

message 11148: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments It is summed up nicely here: http://www.pizzellecookies.com/about/...

message 11149: by Madeleine (new)

Madeleine | 1065 comments I'm a sucker for Italian food. I got a pizzelle maker for my birthday a few tears ago. They're actually very easy to make.

message 11150: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 1616 comments Ooh, I know what those are! They are good... =)
