I'm reading Shadows in the Silence and i need help with some details that were discussed in Angelfire
I've been reading about a jerk character. Although he just might be everything wrong with mankind, he's still a really interesting character study. He's from X-Men so if you can guess who it is, I'd salute yah. Clues:
With people, he lapses into flirting (with woman) or taunting (with men) when he's nervous or thinking about the hundreds of people (assassins included) that are out to kill him. While he keeps them raddled, he's able to level himself out, buying time.
He runs away from his problems and has never learned to fix them himself and no one's ever fixed them for him.
He has dealt with a smoking addiction, a gambling addiction, a drinking addiction and now, he may just have met the worst of all...
He has never been good at denying anything from himself, especially when others determine that he cannot have it (he's a master thief, it comes with the paycheck).
He was married once, but that's before his wife's brother took a sword to the rib. Leave it to him to lose everything on his wedding day all at once.
An hour and 8 minutes left until you win? I don't think so!
I don't know whether or not I like snow... For now I'm not happy with the +30cm that fell yesterday...
the snow is melting here. Yay! Project Snowman failed. I settled for a wall instead. Now I have a fort that I have absolutely no need for.
I wonder if someone's already won this and no one realized cause they're too busy writing their own comment
I just found out how much my dead body is worth on the black market: http://gamquistu.com/games/body((Mine got: Your dead body is worth 9237 US$!
More Info
That is 90% MORE than average.
With this money you could buy:
330 newly released BluRay Discs
168 pairs of Chuck Taylor All-Star Converse
116 Amazon Kindles
77 Apple iPod Nanos
58 Nintendo Wiis
37 Microsoft Xbox 360s or Sony Playstation 3s
24 Apple iPads
17 high-end Digital Cameras
11 46" Samsung LED TVs
))
I just took that quiz thingy... My dead body is apparently worth "986 US$! That is 79% LESS than average."I feel very insulted... Or should I feel honoured? XD
(Honoured with a 'u'. Canadian spelling like 'colour' or 'centre' XD )
It's okay, some of my friends got it in the two hundreds. They were real insulted.((British spelling, yup yup. ^^))

Two hundreds? Ouch...That makes the fact my dead body is worth about 1000$ feel better XD

Pierrette wrote: "So...apparently House of Night & Hush Hush will both be adapted into movies."WHY IS EVERYTHING GOING TO BE A MOVIE -_- ???
It seems Hollywood is running out of ideas so they just take somewhat successful books and make them into movies instead.
Pierrette wrote: "It seems Hollywood is running out of ideas so they just take somewhat successful books and make them into movies instead."We need more 'Le Fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain' types of movies (look it up, you'll see).
Pierrette wrote: "It seems Hollywood is running out of ideas so they just take somewhat successful books and make them into movies instead."That's what I've been saying! I like seeing my favourite books turned into movies as much as the next person, but movie-makers are just getting lazy. They're all mooching off of a writer's ideas and fan-base. (in search of the next Harry Potter or Twilight)
Despite what someone said, I liked the Movie 'Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events' because it was based loosely on the book and fit well at telling what the book failed to do. That was an artistic accomplishment by Hollywood but Witch Hunters? Really?
Gosh, I'm reading about a nutcase. Deadpool (or Wade Wilson), you may know him. Quote:
I opened the door, and a rush of popcorn flooded out like a slick and warm yellow sea, sweeping me up and knocking me over. I yelped, but the sound was instantly stifled by the popcorn that fell into my open mouth.
"I usually make more," Wade said, shrugging. Then he changed the subject before I could even react. "You know, we're very alike. You have nice hair. I have none. You're very normal. I have a friendly voice in my head that speaks in Courier New size-twelve single-spaced font."
I blinked, swallowing a mouthful of popcorn. "How does that make us alike?"

Oh yes, I've only seen a bit of that movie but I know what you mean. :)

It's a fanfiction part. The real books are comics for this guy, the Bugs Bunny of the Mutant world: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDpXu4... ((I can't find anything but fan videos, sorry))
Is this K-Mart or Space?
