D.C. McCormick | 4 comments Hey there:)

Santa and Dante are in love with each other. Hitler dies of explosive diarrhea. Kurt Cobain and Ernest Hemingway spend some time together on the International Space Station. In the end Jesus Hermione Christ drowns in a creek half foot deep. god has liver cirrhosis. And so on.

This book contains religious sacrilege, sex, nudity, a gay Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, gang-rape, school bullying, alcohol, drugs, suicide, whore mermaids, and a fat girl used instead of the atom bomb over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As dumb as it sounds, as I mention in the preface, I have a feeling there is something really good to be taken out of this book.

I am no more special than anyone else here trying to get their book reviewed. I read a lot, so does everyone else. I dreamed of being a writer, so does/did everyone else. I wrote something, so did everyone else.

But I would kindly like to ask you to review my book, All the Great Writers are Dead, either on Goodreads or Amazon. It's quite short, sitting at 127 pages, and is available only in e-book format (free promotion until June 5th).

Here is the download link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GBKNJDM

Goodreads link: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Thank you so much.

Don Phelan (goodreadscomdonphelan) | 9 comments THE BEECH TREE rated 4.86 out of 5 stars on Goodreads. Get a free e-book download in exchange for your review. Use COUPON CODE XV38L at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

The Beech Tree chronicles the lives of a select few of those who visited the tree and shared their lives, their loves, their hopes and dreams, beneath the tree’s dark green canopy … and their curious, inexplicable connection to one another.

When the book’s characters encounter another who has visited the tree, they experience a “déjà vu, don’t-I-know-you-from-somewhere?” moment. Only the readers are privy to this interaction as they experience the characters from a birds’-eye view.

The readers are introduced to Johnny & Margo, the first characters to visit the tree, just before Johnny ships off to fight in The Great War in 1918. We follow Johnny’s & Margo’s life together through the births of their daughters, to Johnny’s devastating loss when Margo dies, and his subsequent three-year bender. He finds comfort in a sailor-tongued barkeeper named Marie, before being rescued from the Kalamazoo Insane Asylum by his friend, Charles “Bullet Joe” Rogan, a pitcher in the Negro Leagues.

Johnny and Bullet share a lifelong, albeit socially taboo, friendship, through decades of racial divide. Bullet is brutally beaten during the Freedom Rides and Johnny comes to the aid of his battered friend.

message 256: by Kellyn (new)

Kellyn Roth (kellynrothauthor) Hi, my name is Kellyn Roth, and I'm looking for reviewers for my novel, The Dressmaker's Secret. It's historical fiction novel aimed at upper middle grade/young adult readers. It has a little romance, a little drama, a little history, a little faith, and a lot of happiness.

London, England, 1870

It comes to the attention of curious eight-year-old Alice Chattoway that her father is seemingly nonexistent. After realizing that his absence is making her mother unhappy, Alice becomes determined to find him and pull her family together. But Miss Chattoway’s answers to her daughter’s questions are vague at best and Alice begins to wonder if she will ever discover her mother’s secret.

“… definitely recommend The Dressmaker’s Secret to any historical fiction enthusiast, or just anyone in general!”

“Roth did a wonderful job in presenting an intriguing book full of body and depth.”

"I would recommend this book to readers of all ages and faith systems. If you like adventure and a full cast of unique characters, then I think this book would be for you. Anyone who enjoys family ties and a little mystery will definitely want to grab a copy."

“To be able to form an attachment with a character after only meeting them for a few pages is something that may be special and unique to Roth as an author.”

“If you love historical fiction You. Will. LOVE. This!”

If you're interested in a free EPUB, MOBI, or PDF copy, please email me (kellynroth@gmail.com). I'll get back to you as soon as possible! :)

Kurt Gruber | 1 comments Hi all,
I'm adding to the thread with the hope of getting some honest (good or bad) reviews of my first novel.
It's called "Tale of a Gentleman Thief" and it's a pseudo Victorian, Cthulhu-horror-spoof that takes place in Edinburgh. The book itself is woefully shorter than I’d like, but it is a labor of love.

The first chapter or so is up for preview as well as a synopsis, etc.

If you are interested in reading it, please let me know and I will send you an epub (or whatever your preferred file format is) for review.

Hillis Pugh (HillisPug) | 1 comments Hello Everyone,
I am seeking about 20 people to review for my upcoming book, Awaken With Gratitude. because It's is a non-fiction book, it will fall under the spiritually and self-help categories.

It’s under 300 pages. About the book, Awaken With Gratitude is a collection of true-to-life moments and personal perspectives threaded together in a series of internal commentary. These observations create a new awareness of self. Each theme allows a deeper understanding of how gratitude runs thru every aspect of every day in each moment creating a cohesion. Gratitude is more than an attitude, it is the path to feeling good, the path of acceptance, and the path of least resistance.

If interested, I’d be happy to send you a pdf copy. Please respond with your email or message me with your email.

Thank you so much for your time!

Sincerely,

. two face | 1 comments Hello,
I need honest reviews for my self published Ebook "Pancha Forkers and the Egghead Robots". It's available in Amazon. It's a religious, scifi, fantasy, action and adventure teenage superheroes novel. It's the first part of a trilogy.

Book description :

Xobo the Robo, possessed by the evil soul of Mr. God, plans the destruction of Mother Nature to reestablish its fictional alien ancestors system of Fathers and Sons. It raised a Robo Family and demonic Army; they run amok and cause devastation.. Militaries fail against Metal Monsters.. Ultimately, five children with Pure Hearts were chosen to stop Lord Xobo. At last, the War begins.

Quotes from the book:

Lord Xobo - "If there are no plants, no animals, no women, and only reanimated corpses of Fathers and Sons - The Brutons and Kreaks, then a better world, a New World could be created. The human race would have every opportunity to survive without plants, animals and women.

Who knows, we may even go to other galaxies and annihilate plants, animals and women everywhere, until only Fathers and Sons remain in the whole universe. We would sing the glorious smell of putrefied corpses forever and ever."

Uncle Jumbo - "Master Bodhitaran, I'm sorry to say this, but I have no other choice. I could guess what you are going to ask. I shudder to think about those creatures - Brutons and Kreaks. What little children could do against them? Please don't expect me to send these kids to do war against murderous Robots."

Monk Bodhitaran - "No government on Earth has the tech to stand against Xobo and his United Family. Except us. These five children could beat them with the help of these formidable Purple Forks and few of my own magical devices. I'll guide them to victory. Leave them to me, I pledge my life to protect them!"

If anyone is interested, please message me or comment here. Thanks.☺

Elimination by Marina Epley
Elimination

Here's a blurb

ELIMINATION is the first novel in THE MIND BREAKER trilogy, set in a violent dystopian world where governmental forces hunt down, imprison and even kill those with psychic abilities.

Rex is an eighteen-year-old mind breaker hoping to keep a low profile. Unfortunately, he was forced to use hypnosis on criminals during an attempted bank robbery, revealing his abilities. Now considered a national threat to society, he has to flee through devastated countryside in order to remain alive. Even worse, by going on the run, he’s endangering his one and only friend Kitty, another strong hypnotist.

Rex soon realizes that together they make a vulnerable target. And the only way to save Kitty is to allow himself to be captured, thus diverting attention while his friend escapes. But nothing goes as planned, as his actions only serve to push Kitty into an even worse situation than a life sentence in prison. With his world falling apart, Rex must figure out how to fix his accumulating mistakes and regain their freedom before it’s too late.

What Rex doesn’t yet understand, is that he may soon play a major role in preventing all-out war between ordinary humans and mind breakers, a war which could lead to total extinction of the entire human race.

Crystalphoenix Crystalphoenix | 6 comments I am looking for reviews on Goodreads and Amazon for my science fiction/fantasy/romance series Chronicles of Mystra. I will give a free copy of both books, Kiosan and Cenchrea, in exchange for an honest review. Both books went live on Amazon and Smashwords today.
-----
In the wake of the Kryllidar war, creatures of myth and legend, the elder races, and the psychically gifted fled the telepath phobic Alliance worlds in search of sanctuary. They found their safe haven on the planet Mystra. It was a paradise world, then something went horribly. A great cataclysm unleashed a storm of deadly energy that threatened to tear the planet apart. Cut off from the rest of space by a barrier of destructive force, all appeared lost. Then from despair came hope. The energies unleashed by the cataclysm had an unexpected effect. Dormant genes carried by women of an ancient Druidic line were suddenly activated, giving the women the ability to control the elemental forces of nature. The elementals saved Mystra from destruction, but their newfound power came with a price. The incredible forces they wielded, in time, destroyed them. Only by bonding with a male, who also carried the dormant gene, could an elemental be saved and her powers safely harnessed.

An elemental’s power reaches maturity on midnight of her twenty first year. If she is not bonded before the midnight hour, the elemental will go mad, lose control of her powers and destroy herself and everything around her. Tivonna, daughter of King Arcus of Aquilla is nearing her twenty first year. A level four elemental, her father has searched the planet for a bondmate, a kiosan, that can match his daughter in power. Searched and failed. He is left with no choice. For the good of Mystra, at midnight on her twenty first birthday Tivonna must die.

Meanwhile, high above Mystra’s skies a golden starship takes up orbit around the shrouded world. Jasen, telepath and last of his kind, has come to Mystra seeking answers. Beings of fire and light appeared from nowhere and swarmed across the galaxy before disappearing as mysteriously as they had appeared. In the creatures’ wake three star systems lay in ruins. Nothing survived except for one lone world. The planet Mystra was untouched. Now Jasen and his friend Hawk will do what no one has done in centuries. Penetrate the planet’s deadly energy barrier and reach the surface below. What they find there will change their lives forever and may hold the key to saving more star systems from destruction. For the fiery invaders are not gone … only sleeping.
------
If you are interested email me: wandawhitfield8789@comcast.net

I have epub, mobi or PDF formats. I will also be releasing both titles in a single print edition entitled Mystra. Proof copies are on the way. Let me know if you would be interested in reviewing the print edition.

Thanks!

Ariel Marie (the_arielmarie) | 13 comments Love steamy vampire romance books?! I will be releasing my erotic vampire novella on August 20, 2016 and I am wanting to give away some ARC’s of Emely's Destiny . If interested, please fill out the form:
http://goo.gl/forms/HmqSEMb9parTfKPr2

Here is the blurb:
Norrix Buchner’s loyalty knew no boundaries. As a king’s guard and one of the deadliest vampires, he was sworn to remain true to his king. In the absence of his king, he led the king’s guard in protecting and providing a safe refuge for displaced vampires. Now that the vampire king had returned, negotiations between vampires and humans have commenced. Norrix was assigned the task to ensure that the humans maintained their part of the treaty. Destiny led him to discover an imprisoned female vampire with large gray eyes and it just about broke him.

Two years had passed since her capture. Life as a lab rat, subjected to inhumane experiments was not how Emely Winter imagined she would spend the rest of her days. She prayed for the day that she would be free, but was beginning to lose all hope. Never in a million years, would she have believed that her rescuer would be the infamous Norrix Buchner, king’s guard and champion for vampires everywhere.

Their meeting was unconventional but love was instant. Emely and Norrix’s passion burned bright in their darkened world. Destiny may have led them to each other but will Norrix and Emely be able to secure their future, together?

Gregory Pettit | 3 comments Hi there. I've written an Urban Fantasy book called Dream Job (think Felix Castor or Harry Dresden, not Rachel Morgan). I'm looking to send out some digital advance review copies, and am happy to send one to anyone that private messsages me (please include an e-mail address that I can send the file to) between now and August 1st.

My blurb is below to give you a better idea of what the book is about.

Meet Julian Adler, twenty-something, married, and London's one-and-only Dreamwalker. Striding through the Dreamscape, he battles the worst monsters that a sleeping metropolis can imagine, but flinging fire and swinging steel he makes them burn and bleed.
Slaying imaginary monsters doesn't pay very well though, so Julian spends his days at an ordinary office job. Ordinary that is, until a beautiful witch walks through his office door and tries to put a spell on him. When the spell goes wrong, an eldritch horror is unleashed into the real world, bodies start to pile up, and Julian's magic is the only thing that might be able to send it, shrieking, back into oblivion.
Can Julian find a way to lure the demon back to the Dreamscape, or will it drag his family, his city, and the entire world into a nightmare that never ends?

Ariana Paige | 1 comments Hi,
I would love to send an ARC to anyone interested in reading my latest erotica title -- Two in the Hand. Be warned, the book features graphic sex, language and BDSM.

I can provide ARCs in either .mobi or .pdf format. Please send me a message here or email me at ariana@arianapaige.com.

The blurb for Two in the Hand is below. This book goes on sale on August 8, with pre-orders available now.

XOXO,
Ariana

Two in the Hand

Publication Date: August 8, 2016

As an experienced Domme, Mistress Lisa is a damn tough cookie, at least on the outside. On the inside, she misses having a submissive boy by her side.

A bar bet with an alpha male turns into something more, far more than she expected. After introducing Ryan to BDSM, she discovers his curiosity for submission and just how much humiliation and pain turn him on. Could this younger businessman be the new boy she is seeking?

Lisa seeks to steer Ryan’s lust and desire towards her younger friend. Melinda hasn’t yet discovered the dominant woman lurking inside herself. Her own desire for Mistress Lisa and her own love for tasting the whip hold her back.

What is a dominant to do with two willing and eager toys begging for her attention? Turn one of them loose, turn them on each other, or keep both of their leashes firmly in her hand?

Two in the Hand is a dynamic exploration of female domination and a glimpse into the life of a Domme. The book delves into D/s relationships, BDSM, humiliation, cuckoldry, CBT, orgasm control, bisexuality, masculinity, and of course plenty of intense scenes between consenting adults.

Ariana Paige is a lifestyle dominant and professional writer. She is the author of five-star reviewed The Houseboy, a story about a woman discovering her own inner desire to hurt and control a willing man. Her other ebook, With Lustful Intent, is the tale of a small-town girl gone very wrong and the depths she is willing to go to get the man she wants.

Hara and Gideon are on a mission for the Emperor to rescue a runaway bride who has fallen into the clutches of an ambitious Duke.
The Duke has amassed an army of mechanical automata and a bride related to the Emperor and is planning to take over the whole Empire.
Hara and Gideon must stop the Duke before he commits genocide of the dragons and starts a civil war.

This is a steampunk novel and the second in a series but can be read as a standalone. You can check out my other books and I'd be happy to offer any of my books for reviews.

Alice (goodreadscomalicerene) | 10 comments The Other Side of Him

This romantic suspense novel, inspired by true events, is in the need of reviews. Its about Claire, an ambitious young woman, raised in Chicago tenements who earns a scholarship to college and is on her way to a better life. She even meets a successful doctor who is smitten with her. However she learns soon enough that he is also seriously flawed. She attempts to break up with him but finds it impossible. He becomes her stalker. Set in the 50s when stalking was still largely unknown, she must find her own way to protect herself from the life-threatening dangers she faces.

If interested, please email me at alicerene1@aol.com and tell me id you prefer a mobi or pdf. Thank you for your consideration.

Laurie Taylor | 2 comments Hi Everyone,

My debut book, Said the Fly, is a forensic murder mystery that Kirkus Review called “dazzling” and “smartly written” in their *starred* review. It was selected as one of their May “Kirkus Indie Books of the Month.”

I would love to get more reader reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads! Here is where you will find it on Goodreads : http://bit.ly/2b73v4a

And here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/author/lauriet...

The Kindle version is available for FREE between August 17 -21st, and if you would like an e-pub I am happy to send that to you instead.

Many thanks in advance, Laurie

Sandra Lopez | 109 comments I am looking for reviewers for my newest book, SINGLE CHICAS.

Single Chicas is a collection of stories about modern Latinas being in, out, and around the zany hurdles of relationships. One woman receives strange calls from a lonely soul, another seeks advice on how to love herself, and another wakes up in a parallel universe to a man she's never met. These chicas will make painstaking effort to survive the complexities with humor and grace. Once again, López dazzles audiences with her brilliantly candid craft. Smart, witty, and funny, these stories will explore the true endurance of singlehood.

Please contact me for an advanced copy. Thanks

Hey J! Since I have never read e-books before, I am not sure I'd be able to review your book properly, i.e. it might take me longer than reading a print book etc. I am still very interested. Let me know if you want me to wait for the printed version or .. you want me to try reading a pdf? :)

I don't know if there will be a print version. I am an indie and haven't actually pursued real publication beyond e-readers. I am happy to send a pdf and please do not feel the need to rush. The fact that you're interested in reading them really is enough for me. If a pdf copy is something you feel is doable, please send along your email address and I'll gladly send both Forward and Start Again.
Thanks!

I thought perhaps there may still be someone out there who would like to read about a girl from a housing project who becomes involved with a successful, rich doctor. He is smitten with her, but is also seriously flawed. He becomes a dangerous stalker when she ultimately rejects him.The Other Side of Him

It's humour with pathos. What's Major Jeremy Billycock-Smythe going to do with 12 illegal immigrants he's accidentally brought into the country?
