What would you want to be skilled at in the Hunger games?

I would want to be skilled at hiding and setting traps that would leave my opponent hanging so I wouldn't have to kill them.

Survival is probably the biggest skill needed in the hunger games, I mean if u didn't know how to find water or what was edible, u would be dead within a day even if u were an awesome killer

What is a real life skill u have that u could use in the hunger games?

I know a bunch of edible plants and I am good at camouflage and hiding. I am an ok medic too. I am a more defensive than offensive person

hm. im a good attacker i guess. and a defender. im handy with a sword but not perfect.

How do you know sword fighting then?

Archery, Survival, Camouflage....there are so many things you'd NEED to make it out of the HG!

I think if you have one main skill and survival basics, that is the best you can do

Axe throwing, and running. It is so much easier to lodge an axe into someone's skull and run away than to try to stab them to death, which takes time.

I would totally become one of the careers. I mean yes, someone can kill you in your sleep. But you know the saying. "There are always safety in numbers!"

Here are my steps to dominance
1)Become skilled in poisons/other useful herbs
2)Become a skilled Chef
3)Become a trauma surgeon
4)Learn physics and axe-throwing
5)Learn tracking.

So then when I go into the arena I
1)Become a career, taking the role of food-provider.
2)Slowly poison the other careers.
3)Get rid of the careers.
4)Repair any wounds I have using medicinal herbs to create a local anesthetic, and repair myself.
5)Track down stragglers and calculate the trajectory to hit them with and axe from afar.
6)Hit them with an axe from afar.
7)Repeat steps 5 and 6 until I emerge victorious.
