adding Advance Uncorrected proof

How do I add an Advanced Uncorrected Proof which is paperback format but has same ISBN for the "Upcoming" hardcover format
This edition has a different Cover image from the Hardcover
I've seen one post recommending adding it as a separate edition leaving the ISBN field blank, would this be correct?

Yes, and put Advanced Uncorrected Proof in the edition field.
