Rooks (astorytellingofrooks) 89. The Architecture of Happiness by Alain de Botton

4/5 I finished this earlier this year and somehow forgot to add it here, despite reviewing it for my shelf. My original review:

"So, here's the thing - I felt like I actually disagreed with the author not a little bit (we clearly have some differing tastes in architecture, though I say this primarily in regards to some of the implications that might hold). However, I would be lying if I didn't say that I really rather enjoyed the work and the prose, despite our individual departures."

Rooks (astorytellingofrooks) 92. Tallulah, Darling: A Biography Of Tallulah Bankhead by Denis Brian

3.5/5 Um, Tallulah Bankhead may actually be the most Interesting (Wo)man in the World. Those Dos Equis commercials should maybe star *her*.

Rooks (astorytellingofrooks) 93. A Girl's Guide to Vampires by Katie MacAlister

2/5 I find it tempting to say that everyone in this book is irredeemably dumb as bricks, but more apt would be that, in this admittedly occasionally funny created world, common sense certainly isn't common.

Rooks (astorytellingofrooks) 94. Divergent by Veronica Roth

4/5 Super fast and super fun, I'm excited to read the next one.

Rooks (astorytellingofrooks) 95. Insurgent by Veronica Roth

3/5 I spent a good deal of this book being annoyed at the heroine, but it was still pretty darn good.

Rooks (astorytellingofrooks) 96. Fried Coffee & Jellied Bourbon by Willan C. Roux, aka the very first book I've ever read that wasn't on Goodreads!

Good review (and proof it exists) here: http://www.cocktailatlas.com/L2Other/...
