does anyone else get sick of all the drama in the middle and only read the first and last books? I find I'm only interested in the resolution, since nothing ever EXTREMELY important happens in the middle books of a series anyway.... :/ I only read VA for the dimitri/rose chemistry

Me too, I always read the whole series. Unless like their really bad. If they are, I read in order till I can't take it then stop completely.. I don't jump to the last book.

I loved all of the books in VA anyway. I don't usually have a problem with books in the middle of the series.

Half-vampires, called dhampir, and good vampires, called Moroi, go to a special academy in the middle of nowhere Montana, were the dhampir train to protect the Moroi from the evil vampires, the strigoi. Rose is the main character and she can see through her best friend's mind, Lissa, through a special link. The first book starts out with Rose and Lissa being brought back the the academy after they ran away two years ago. I know it's kind of a lame review and all, but if you want to get a better take on if you would like to read it or not, Richelle Mead has the first 5 chapters on the Vampire Academy's website for the first book to read. I read them to see if I would like the books, and it helped me decide on reading them. Hoped this helped. :)
