Some cool intense alternate endings...make sure to set the setting!!!!!

Ok. so this is the part where katniss is talking about Gale in district 2 with his fancy new Job."hello?", I said softly. I heard another russle of branches. "Hello?! Anybody there?" Silence. Nobody's there. All of a sudden, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I shreiked. "Katniss, it's alright!" he said. "Peeta?" I said. "guess again" he replied. I slowly turned around and gave my old best friend a big hug.
I backed away. Then slapped him in the face. " Katniss. I can explain. Trust me I didn't know about the bomb..." "Gale, why did you leave?" Before he could answer, Peeta came rushing through the forest."Katniss, I've been looking all over for...why is Gale here?"
So there they were. Both of them standing in front of me. Bang!!!! One of them dropped to the ground. "NOOOOOOO!!" I screamed. It was no use. He was dead.

My alternate endin would be she picks Gale, even though I am tema Peeta I would hae her take gale because peeta is mine! tee hee ^-^

he kind-of does though, sure it's blurry but he even said himself that he sees his memory, but sometimes he doesn't know if it's real or not real.
i wish Gale would have at least stayed close to Katniss and not have went to district 2

i think it makes the story interesting that peeta's memories are all messed up. it emphasizes his love for katniss

i kind of love it..... which is annoying because i want to know what happened. I love a good cliff hanger, but I still love the Bittersweet ending in the real book! I love that Katniss doesnt see gale anymore, and that prim dies, and that she ends up with peeta. Its not perfect, but then again nothing ever is (except these books).

I'd have it that Finick dosn't die same with Prim. Coin and Snow died in a battle to the death. Gale becomes Leader and meets Snow grand-daughter and falls in love with her. And he gives Katniss and Peeta the forest. That would have rocked my world

That was unique I guess? LOL I dont think they hate each other that they would try to kill each other. But heyy its an alternate ending, so I will go with it:)

Ok.Prim doesn´t die in the explosion, instead Mrs. Everdeen does, Katniss realize that President Coin was the one who tried to kill Prim.
Katniss execute both Presidents Snow and Coin.
But she actually has the district 13´s approval so she becomes a national hero.
She returns to district 12 with Peeta who gets his memory back thanks to some treatments.
Katniss is elected for mayor of district 12, she spends 6 years as mayor and later because of her national hero status she becomes president of Panem she upgrade the living conditions of Panem and she makes one hunger game with Capitol Citizens when Crane and Snow´s young relatives participate but die.
She gets married with Peeta and have with him one son and daughter and she have also a daughter with Gale (Peeta never realizes that the last daughter of Katniss is actually Gale´s daughter too) who is Prim brand new Husband and General of the Panem Army.
Prim has two twin daughters and a son
So katniss cheats on peeta? Nup, i can't handle it. He's too sweet.

I read the books months ago, and I could have sworn there was this scene with the pearl but when I reread them it wasn't there so I guess I made it up or dreamed it. So here is my made up scene...At some point in the middle of the Capital, Peeta sees Katniss running the pearl across her lips (as she has previously done). Seeing that she cherishes it and carries it around with her everywhere she goes jolts his real memories and he realizes how much he truly loves her And that she must love him back.

I love the pearl idea too! That get's my vote.

Seeing peeta and our children smile at me in the crowd makes me feel so warm inside. Once i walk into the justice building of the capitol this i let out a breath then I'm ambushed by my fsmily. " you did great mommy" "thanks sweety" I turn to peeta " thank goodness that the last speech i have to give before the vote cause i still hate talking in front of people" He hands me our sleeping little boy and just laughes at me "you did great we should probably go home now i think he waking" we all turn to the stirring child in my arms " okay" is all i say then the four of us turn and leave the justice building heading to our home in district 12. We don't speak on our way home just sit on the couch in the plane wrapped in each others arms. Once we land both kids are awake and run off the plane to the house happy to be home. But i hold back and peeta notices. " whats wrong?" I look at him and try to fake a smile " nothing" he scans my face "you know what your not really good at that" " good at what " i say to innocently "katniss we have been married for 2 years i can tell when your lying" i lok at him we have stopped walking "i don't know if i can change the way people think about the games what do i do?"

I think that it would have been a good idea if Katniss died...iik ik many would disagree but it would sorta show that whe came into that world with a purpose and now that it's completed she dies
I'll give you guys the ending that I thought was coming as I was reading 'Mockingjay' (and for the life of me, I can't get the image out of my head).---
[Katniss puts her arrow through Coin, gets captured and put on (show-)trial, but she escapes to meet up with Peeta in the forest outside district 12.]
With "the games" finally over
and the Capitol defeated,
Katniss and Peeta,
who never had a chance
to be together by choice,
are finally free
and together,
holding hands
and hanging,
from the hanging tree.
[Fade to black with the nearby mockingjays echoing The Mockingjay's final song].

It would have been a sad ending but strangely appropriate given her singing about the tree earlier in the book, and the symmetry with their interrupted suicide-by-berries pact from the first book.
It would also have given a different feel to the 2nd and 3rd books - the idea that Katniss and Peeta were only ever living on borrowed time. That the Capitol sealed it's own fate by taking away Katniss and Peeta's only way of showing that they're not "owned" by the Capitol.

Then Katniss books it from the bedroom and flocks away to District 7 to live among the trees and lumberjacks in a small log cabin with Johanna Mason.
Any ending where Finnick and Cinna live is fine with me!
wow way better than the real ending! love it!! I pictured peeta being shot, not Gale. Gale is AWESOME!! whoop
