As it is, we've spent, what? a week on this one? Historical events don't have to be so obscure that no one knows them (whether or not they'd make a great movie).

Ted (efcorson) | 151 comments Well, you said I was warm but off by a few years when I said "The Siege of Vienna in 1529." So, I assume that this was an East-West conflict involving the Ottoman empire which in the 16th century had a strong fleet which wreaked havoc in the Mediterranean. But that doesn't jibe with the modern reoccurrence or the commander being shot by a sniper or the city named after the hero. I just don't know ..
