We're moving from my favorite part of London to the gay district? I used to belong to the American Club in London. I've been to the embassy several times; not since security became such an issue, though. The move must be from the Bush/Cheney terrorist paranoia era--maybe it's just because of the parking fees.

Yes the American Embassy in London
Its the only embassy not owned by the United States.
The site is owned by the Dukes of Westminister aka the Grosvenor family.
The own the area around Grosvenor Square as well as Bellgrave Square in Mayfair. Most other residents have 99 year leases. A great source of wealth for the Grosvenors.
I figured the Tangier clue would probably give it away, since it was mentioned in Obama's speech in Egypt.
