It's nice to finally meet you properly, Liam.
I love SF. I recently thought about tackling the SF Masterworks collection, but when I saw that there were no Isaac Asimov I thought better of it. He's the man that brought SF to life as far as I'm concerned. I also read quite a lot about skepticism. I often attend Dublin Skeptics in the pub, too. It's pretty laid back, and good fun.

I've read a few SFMs already. It really annoy me, though, that such a vast list didn't have one Isaac Asimov novel but had at least half a dozen Philip K. Dick. I've read a few PKD and, although I enjoyed them all, they're simply not in the same league as Asimov. PKD had a fine imagination for novel concepts but so did Asimov, and I rate Asimov as a far better storyteller.
I'm Liam and I love reading (what a surprise) I read to relax. I find a good long reading session is as good as a sleep.
I read a mix of fiction and non fiction. My non fiction tends to be of the pop science type, physics, psychology. I read about skepticism and religion (though I am not religious).
My fiction varies. I like sci-fi but not the hard stuff, I don't read much fantasy but am really enjoying the Game Of Thrones books. I am in a book club at work so that dictates a lot of the fiction I read and also helps introduce me to new authors.
