Has anyone else here read this awesome series? This is my favorite YA series. If you haven't read it, I seriously recommended it. It's similar it House of Night, but 10x better.

Nidhi Thomas (nidhithomas) | 139 comments It is an amazing series! Feel in love with it the first moment I read the first line haha

Me too. Have you read the whole series, including Bloodlines? If so, what was your favorite book?

message 4: by Nidhi (new)

Nidhi Thomas (nidhithomas) | 139 comments Read the whole series! I haven't read it yet and it is on my list to read before this month ends! From The Vampire Academy my favorite book would be Blood Promise or Shadow Kiss

Nidhi Thomas (nidhithomas) | 139 comments what about you?

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

I own every book, including Bloodlines, the Guide, and the graphic novel. My favorite is Shadow Kiss!

Nidhi Thomas (nidhithomas) | 139 comments Haha me too! except I don't have the Guide :P The graphic novel made me extremely happy!

A lot of details were left out, but it was a cute adaptation. I'm thinking of re-reading the series soon.

message 9: by Megan (new)

Megan (teenqueen) I loved this series. I wasn't so keen on the first one but I found that the series just got better and better as it went on. I really loved the last one! I've also read Bloodlines which I also really liked :)

message 10: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Haven't read it yet. I didn't know Bloodlines was tied to this series?

message 11: by Megan (new)

Megan (teenqueen) Well its a new series but it has some of the same characters in it like Sydney, Jill and Adrian. You should read it, it was really good.

message 12: by Adriana (new)

Adriana That's good to know. I was going to read Bloodlines but I'll have to start out with Vampire Academy first then. Thanks (:

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

You can technically read Bloodlines on its own; it's still kind of a stand alone. However, even though the story lines aren't connected, Bloodlines makes a lot of references to the original series. I would still recommend reading Vampire Academy first, but it isn't completely necessary.

Adriana Got it.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) One of my favorite series all time, though the first book didn't really captivated me, but thanks for the suceeding books!

House of night is good too :)

Which is your favorite VA book?

message 17: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Sanglay (speckintheuniverse) I really love this series! <3 Rose is amazing!
I guess, my favorite book would be Blood Promise, or Shadow Kiss, or Last Sacrifice. It's really hard to choose because every book in this series is captivating! XD

By the way, I don't have the guide yet, and I haven't read Bloodlines yet, because it's not available in the bookstores here where I live. :/

message 18: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Planning on getting already. I need to see what all the hype is about.

same situation here. We have to order/ reserve one to get that book :(

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

This book is fantastic, though I have to admit that I liked Adrian more than I liked Demetri. It's jsut that Adrian was sweeter with Rose than Demetri when they were together.

I can't pick a favourite book, but I think that Frost Bite was the least enjoyable for me.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Personally, I didn't care for Blood Promise as much. I learned more about their world, but otherwise I felt like it was the weakest link in the series. Frostbite was okay, but it made me sad because of (view spoiler).

Brigid ✩ | 102 comments I've only read the first one. Maybe I should read the rest?

message 24: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (meimei42) So I read book one and it was okay, but I just didn't love it.

Do you think with Frostbite the series gets better? Because right now I like Rose, but Dimetri just bores me. Who likes a 7 foot tall guy with a ponytail? I just couldn't get into him. Mason (I think that was his name) was cooler and more attractive in my opinion.

I liked Rose and Lissa's relationship, but I just felt like there was something lacking in the book. I don't know...
