You guys are making this look so interesting! Did you choose your books from ones you already own, or do you anticipate having to purchase some of them during the year? I just had a funny picture in my mind.....doing a search on my Kindle and thinking, OK now I need a book title that starts with...

I'm going to have to do this, I'll be back with my list later!

message 17: by Teri Pre (new)

Teri Pre | 455 comments Mod
Patrica, I'm adding mine as I clear off my TBR shelves. I still have books that I got free or for cheap in 2010!! I've decided to read stuff in order of month downloaded. Near the end of the challenge I'll bump a few books ahead to fill in the blanks but mostly I'll keep knocking off those early downloads as fast as I can! :D

message 18: by Heather (new)

Heather | 72 comments That's pretty much how I did it, Patricia, by looking through my TBR. It was really interesting to rediscover some books I'd forgotten. I also added in a few books which will be released this year, which I know I want to read. I put in a few In Death books too, because I plan on reading one of those a month. I've never planned any reading in advance before, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out!

Kathryn (an80slady6886) | 43 comments Not bad, I just updated my list in Message 28 and I only missed A, Q, U, X, and Z. Not sure why I missed A, it sounds easy enough; must have just overlooked it. I started reading The Quickening, but could not continue reading it and I started Uncle Tom's Cabin in November, but decided to put it on hold until 2013 so I could at least meet my goal of reading 60 books. Now, I just need to finish the one I'm reading.

message 36: by Danielle (new)

Danielle | 18 comments I've read four in the past week (thank goodness I didn't have to work). I will pick up the last one from the library tomorrow. It's only 240 or so pages, so I should easily finish it (probably on the 1st) and then I'll be done!
