So far, so good!"

That's one of the first fantasy series I read (a few) years ago when I was a teenager. I loved it and even read those first four books twice. I love that scene in Magician: Master when Pug finally cuts loose with his powers.

message 1061: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 1183 comments Finished On Dublin Street by Samantha Young which I absolutely, totally loved (and I'm not usually all that in to contemporary romances).

Started Grave Memory (Alex Craft, #3) by Kalayna Price and Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between (Rhiannon's Law #1) by J.A. Saare which I'm really excited about, but it's slow going. No reading yesterday and I might be too tired to read today. Went and saw Linkin Park last night and realized once again that I am not as young as I once was. Getting home at 1 am and getting up at 6 am...there isn't enough mascara or coffee in the world to hide how tired I am.

message 1062: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 1179 comments Lol Paris it sucks when you realize the things you liked to do when you were younger are more difficult now! How was Linkin Park?

I hope you love Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between (Rhiannon's Law #1) by J.A. Saare it's one of my faves!

message 1063: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 1183 comments Jenne, Linkin Park was amazing. I saw them live about ten years ago and they were great then, but they were even better last night. Well worth the way I feel today.

I've read so many great things about Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between (Rhiannon's Law #1) by J.A. Saare I'm sure I'll love it. I'm really excited to read it, but I would rather take a nap right now. lol

I read the first three books of her Corinne Solomon series, and while it wasn't bad it was just kind of....bland maybe is the right word. Nothing really grabbed me about it. But I've heard Sirantha Jax is a better....

Sirantha is so much better than Corrine, even though I like them both. If you like sci-fi, a little romance and a kick-ass heroine, Sirantha is your girl.

message 1095: by Christine (new)

Christine | 850 comments I'll have to give Sirantha Jax a try one of these days. I like a little sci-fi from time to time. Plus, it's yet another series in which I already own the first few... I have to wonder why I keep buying books when I already own enough to keep me busy for a few years....

Ha! I constantly wonder the same thing, but then you never know when you'll be snowed in or stuck at home for some other reason. You might as well be prepared with a ton of books to read.

LOL! True. When the zombie apocalypse hits, I'll have plenty of reading material on hand. And some of it might even prove useful.

message 1098: by Janie (new)

Janie (janiecld55) | 3 comments I always think I'll wait and get the book later because like you I have plenty to read. But then when I want the book I have a really hard time finding it. So now I just keep buying. I'll just add another room to Barry's honey do list. lol

message 1099: by Gin (new)

Gin | 99 comments Ha! Well, I certainly have plenty of books for this Zombie Apocalypse!
Hmmm......maybe I need to go buy some more zombie books?

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9661 comments There can never be enough books, even zombie ones. Currently on Archangel's Storm (Guild Hunter, #5) by Nalini Singh .
