I am reading
and I have to say I love Jayne Castle/Jayne Anne Krentz/Amanda Quick. Her names describe her writing style such as Castle writes futuristic Krentz writes now and Quick writes past. I like all three.

Tracy, JAK is one of my fav authors under any name. Great comfort reads and readily re-readable for those of us who like PNR as opposed to those diehard UF lovers :D
Sandra wrote: "Tracy, JAK is one of my fav authors under any name. I stumbled onto her because I love Dean Koontz and at my library her books are right there with his. The more I saw them the more I wondered so I just started reading. Then I got into the Castle and Quick books. I love everything I have read by her.
I started collecting her back in about 1982 when she wrote under Stephanie James, now I've got most but not all of what she's written. Sandra's Krentz Shelf
Alyssa wrote: "Ooooh.... Last Rite.... I haven't read it yet. How was it, Steph? I'm sad it's the last one."I enjoyed it, Alyssa. This love triangle was one that I actually didn't hate. I liked both guys and felt they each had something to offer Fran. I also liked getting a POV from all three, when I typically find the back and forth frustrating. Unique all the way around for me.
Amy or "Ames" wrote: "Currently reading: Quiet The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking Loving it so far. It's very revealing. "
I'll have to show that one to my DH. Me - Extrovert and Him - Intro. LOL!
Amy or "Ames" wrote: "Steph, congrats on finishing to two series/trilogies! I'm adding Taming Her Wolf to my wishlist. I do enjoy Eve Langlais's books."
Thanks! Always a good feeling to cross off a series, even when you're sad to see them go.
Hope you enjoy THW.
Jean wrote: "Steph - I agree with you. Fortunately, I got First Frost (Mythos Academy, #0.5) for free, but I still think the backstory was done better in Touch of Frost. I guess I didn't need the detailed prequel. "
Lucky. I want my buck back. LOL!

Yeah, I would have wanted my money back too. (Ooops.)
So I went slightly mental at the library today but can't decide where to even begin reading them... :P
Wow! I'm jealous of your library. I'd suggest River Marked or Downside. Those just keep getting better, IMO. Course, those are the ones on your list I've read. Not sure about the others. Although I have Prized TBR, so if you go for that one lemme know what ya think of it. :)Happy Reading!
Actually, I didnt initially recognize (on my iPad) a couple of the covers you posted, but I've read All These Things I've Done and liked it.
GTK Steph! All These Things I've Done, I kind of got on a whim but I knew I must've seen someone reading it before cos I recognized the synopsis.RM or Downside it is then! City of Ghosts is going to be a re-read but I hope one of them fits the shelf tonight :D
Josie, I think you'll enjoy Brightly Woven. It has a similar feel to Maria V. Snyder's books. That Dearly Departed UK cover continually puts me off reading that book. It's just plain wrong. Makes me think comedy spoof or something.
Sandra wrote: "I started collecting her back in about 1982 when she wrote under Stephanie James, now I've got most but not all of what she's written. Thanks Ames, I've been wanting to read it for ages :)Actually that's not the cover the library has which is weird, GRs doesn't have it the cover either so here's the link if you click on the cover two more times you get a massive full screen picture. I like it but maybe because it's a nice new book that's making it look better.
That's a much better cover. I'm glad they've brought a new one. I think it's actually better than the US one because at least it has a zombie on it.
Rachael wrote: "Starting
for the second time and gonna finish this time!"Good luck. I had such a difficult time getting through that book.
Yeah I thought so too, I found the US one a bit too... pretty. But then again I haven't read the book yet so maybe it suits it better than a darker, zombie-on-the-cover one.

Tracy did you read the entire Plum series? I did (except for the last few) and couldn't finish Wicked Appetite, my review says why. But I didn't care for it.

I own them Tracy, and I've definitely read them all more than once :D

That cover is on GR Josie, just went to track it down to add and its already there. Unless someone else has done it in the last 5 hours.
Regina wrote: "Tracy did you read the entire Plum series? I did (except for the last few) and couldn't finish Wicked Appetite, my review says why. But I didn't care for it."I am current with the Plum series and I loved them. I also read Motor Mouth and it wasn't very memorable. I was hoping it would be better than it was. I haven't liked any of her others as much as Stephanie buy I was hoping the wicked ones would be good.
Sandra wrote: "Tracy wrote: "Sandra wrote: "I started collecting her back in about 1982 when she wrote under Stephanie James, now I've got most but not all of what she's written. Sandra's Krentz Shelf"You have..."
You have quite a collection going on there Sandra. I have read several of her books as well but I don't own any. I still have many more to read.
Sorry Sandra, must've missed it!Oh how well I know OCC - I have been banned from bringing anymore books into the household because of lack of space :P
Well Sandra and Regina, finished Obsidian Prey and loved it. Once again I must say she is a fabulous author.
I am reading
and I really liked the short story by Ilona Andrews and I am loving the short story by Jim Butcher!I am also reading
~♥~ Lady~Cate ~♥~ wrote: "I started Once Burnedand I'm really loving Vlad. It is the first book by this author I have read."I loved that one, Lady Cate! I've read Jeaniene's other series and have been dying for a book on Vlad. She did us one better and created a series for him. And, to throw a big, juicy cherry on top, she rocked the first book. :D *super happy fan*
Just finished
(which has one of the best covers ever IMO) and I'm hoping for some awesome Vlad dreams tonight. Love him and I loved the book. Jeaniene definitely gave us Vlad lovers something to sink our teeth into.

That would be just my luck. LOL.
Demon doctor whats not to love. ROFL
Jenne wrote: "I'm reading
and I don't know what took me so long to start this series. It's really good!"That's GTK, Jenne, I have that one TBR. In fact, I have passed over it a couple times recently. I'll make sure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
Finished
and LOVED it! That's two great spin-offs from two great series. Makes me :)
Jeann wrote: "I'm currently reading
so excited to start this series!"Oh how I love downside ghosts besides Fever it's my favorite series! If the first one seems strange to you (a lot of world building) read the next one soon after book 2 it totally sucks you in :)

I ended up giving it 5 stars it was a good start to a series!
This is the weirdest thing. I cannot access my own bookshelf because my own profile is set to private!! It's blocking me out.Anybody experiencing problems?
Someone else in the group was also having the same probs. Head over to GR Feedback group, cause there is probably a thread about it already with some info.

Barbara what did you think about wicked business? I have it and was thinking about reading it. I love her Stephanie Plum series and was hoping Wicked Business would have the same air of humor in it.
