I think they're going to have all Sookie's love interests in the show, but I haven't heard for sure about Quinn. Who do you think would play him?
In the books, you will notice that Bubba's background is all innuendo & references that lead the reader to believe that he is Elvis. Of course this is never actually stated by the author. I think that is very smart. Nobody wants a lawsuit over the rather transparent use of this character and the inferred penchant for cat blood? Ewwwww! That is probably why the producers of the show do not even want to entertain the idea of that particular character. Can you imagine how his family would feel?

Woohoo, I will have to investigate, have they said who is going to play him? God I hope they don't make his character crap.
Yes! Quinn was one of my most favorite characters. I was so disappointed in how things worked out for Quinn. I do hope they don't mess him up like they did the Hot Shot crowd in the show.I think The Rock would be a perfect Quinn, but somehow I don't see them getting him to play him. Too bad, he's so yummy.

I just recently started on season 2, so I haven't seen any of the hot shot stuff...what do you think about the addition of jessica's character? at first it kinda pissed me off (esp b/c they seemed to be throwing out the "maker's command" thing), but now I really like her...and I guess now it looks like bill just didn't want to command her (when he couldn't control her)?
yeah, I actually like the show-bill better than the book-bill...but I often don't really like the show-sookie. and some other stuff aggravates me- like jason lying to sookie once- since when can people lie to sookie?!
The Jessica addition seemed out of nowhere in the beginning, but now with as different the show is from the book, I don't mind her.
