I'm Sheila. I love to read. I did a challenge similar to this last year but it doesn't look like it was going to occur again in 2012 so I decided to do one like it. I like to read most genres. I'm not crazy about horror but I might give it a try. I also like live theater, concerts, Celtic music. I enjoy baking and cooking and going out to restarants.
Welcome, Janie. I did well on the 2011 challenge until October then I fell apart. I liked last year's challenge with a theme for the books. I hope we all make it this year.

Retired but working part-time with the school district in the special needs program. Coached girls basketball for 20 years and now just beginning my 4th year coaching Special Olympics Basketball.
Married for 40 years (Already?) with 2 daughters and 2 grand-sons, ages 18 and 17. Love to travel - have been to Europe, Ireland, Turkey, the Copper Canyon in Mexico, completed a 16-day rafting trip through the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River, and a few other places I've probably missed.
Am a avid Los Angeles Angel and Los Angeles Dodger fan, but nothing like a Los Angeles Laker name as well.
Welcome, Chuck! 100 is just a number and we're only here for fun. Read what you can but it sounds like you have a very busy life so I can understand if you don't read as much as you'd like.

You can post after you read them. You don't have to post at the beginning of the month. Either way is fine.

I've always loved reading and set my goal this year for 100 books. I think I can do it, especially since I got an e-reader as an early Christmas gift and find it much easier/faster to read on that. (I hate to admit it, but I think my eyes were starting to go a bit, so being able to adjust font size and the clear print is good for me!).
Looking forward to checking out the monthly challenges and discussing books with everyone else :)

I read all kind of books, mysteries and classics being two of my favorites. But I enjoy branching out and reading genres that I don't normally consider.
Welcome, Kristy! This is why I like reading challenges that let me keep a list on the challenge site and also on Goodreads.

Welcome, Tatum! Glad you could join us. I love my e-reader also and the ability to change fonts is great. I can't wait to see what books people choose so I can add to my list.

I am a romance reader, the smuttier the better. However I do read YA at times. Anything paranormal, especially vamps, that's me.
I am also an aspiring author myself. But trying to find time to write and being a stay at home mom of a 7, 3 and 2 yo is tough! I also review small press ebooks for a blog. But I'm excited to join the group and have challenges!
Welcome, Brandi! Glad to have you. My goal is 200 books this year. I really need to give up the day job. ;)
