If you read the first two we can do a buddy read for the third one , how's that?
Elishia wrote: "I have these but haven't read them, I should actually star fitting on some historicals."They are pretty good but not the kind I'd recommend specially the first two! It's getting better .

Finally started
for Book Shelf Bingo's requirement of magic. It has been on my radar forever... I was actually on the waitlist at the library for it once, and let it lapse. So far I'm liking it.
I just finished

?CaroB?
I'm not sure about the date. today? or 6th? or 18th?
Kyra, have you ever read the Special Forces series by Aleksandr Voinov? I've never read it myself so I have no idea if they are good but I've heard great things about them, and Smexy Books just listed it as one of their top 10's. I saw it and I thought it might be something you would be interested in. Here is the GR link which also contains the link to the author's site - the books are available for free there:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/67...
Elishia wrote: "I keep seeing this series a lot but wasn't sure if they were good."I'm not sure but they've gotten really high ratings. The series is supposedly very dark though.
Going to start
which is the sequel to
and I still need to finish up
I just seem to be having a problem with books keeping my interest lately, I've been re-reading favorites in the meantime until I can get over this slump.
I've put
on hold cause the shelf that got called for BSB is a winning shelf for the team I'm on! So, I'm reading
which will catch me up here with the series and get my contribution for the shelf!

I started
it's been on my TBR list for a long time, even before I joined GR. I don't why I hadn't read it before, it's real good so far

Just finished Ten Things I Love About YouHere's my review!
Ten reasons why I really love this book.
"One" it gives precedence to my fondness for list making, and it is always grand to indulge one's OCD tendencies. "Two" it’s a fast, jaunty read, that leaves you longing to turn just ONE more page before you put it down. Which is most heavily influenced by "Three" the characters who are simply adorable, whether they are on the heath or in the drawing room. That is, of course, partly inspired by "Four" the jocular feel of the prose, especially between Sebastian and Annabel, even despite the overabundance of adjectives. Which in turn leads to "Five" the outlandish, humorous plots within the plots, or so to speak, which include the always serious and obvious potential for death by pigeons. That brings up the question of “Six” the peculiarly difficult task of translating this into Russian. Followed closely by “Seven” the improbable and unconfirmed number of times a rock can be skipped, and “Eight” the number of siblings in Annabel’s family and the promise of her child-bearing hips. Which is of course blushingly followed by “Nine” the sweet and seductive love scenes that invite a sacchariferous blush from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. Which is finished off quite nicely by a fowl and "Ten" the fact that she can outrun a turkey
I love your review Sandy!! I've got that book on my TBR, and now I'm thinking it needs to be moved up!

Jenny Wrote: Rachel, have you read all of the After the Crash books? I've had the first one on my kindle forever, but I never seem to pick it up.
No, I was bad and skipped to Book 3. I think I'm going to go back and read Book 1, though. That book features Taye and he's a sweetheart.
The book kind of reminded me of the psy-changeling series. Well, the shifter part of the book, that is. It had kind of the same tone - the men are shifter/wolves and their wolves bond with their mates. The guys are alphas, fierce Lakota warriors, but sweet and tender with their women and also possessive/protective. So it also feels kind of like a historical native american western. I think you might like it. There may not be much action though - Book 3 was character/romance driven so I think it will probably be the same with Book 1. And it's not a perfect series (at least Book 3 wasn't) but it's a book that will probably help you pass a nice afternoon with a cute enjoyable romance.
