CaroB you are brave....I have a hard time with audio books...I guess because I get an image and sound image in my head about what the characters sound like...I am often disappointed. I am curious how this venture goes for you.

I had a look there first shosho, but Sunshine Coast library has a crappy selection. They only have #1 and #24 of the In Death series available in audiobook. I spent $18 on the Rapture in Death book from Audible and I felt guilty, knowing that I already have it as an ebook, but I'm curious to see if I'll love it as much as everyone says with the audiobooks being so good.

I know, right? I loved Ian too. But there's just something so broken and wanting to be fixed about Cam that draws me in. He's easily got a place in my Top 10 book boyfriends.

I believe so but to use the electronic resources you only need a membership number. My husband never uses his, let me check and I'll email you the number and the website

Lina | 5563 comments shosho wrote: "What was the audio book you listened to and didn't like CaroB?"

It was Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. The way the narrator did the accents ended up driving me insane... and it was so slow... and I fell asleep a few times listening to it. And I freaking love that book... which probably worked against it as well, I should've tried something I didn't know so well and didn't already have an emotional attachment to.

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments I'm reading the much talked about The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins . It's actually kind of sad, I went to go see the movie first! But I'm loving the book thus far.

Love that cover! I love a tattooed badboy. Abby, did you like it?

I finished Blood Red Road (Dust Lands, #1) by Moira Young , which I didn't like, and I also finished Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas because I was curious about it so I borrowed it from a friend. Definitely not my type of thing but it was thought provoking.

I have no idea what to read next.

@ Rameau: thanks for posting the link. Off to read the review...

I'm almost done with the book myself and I've enjoyed both of them. The movie follows the book pretty well actually! I really enjoyed the movie!

I loved the first 3 in the series, all 4 or 5 starts for me , but the fourth one The Duke's Perfect Wife (Highland Pleasures, #4) by Jennifer Ashley was a DNF for me!! have you read that one?

well I didn't like the plot to start with , (view spoiler) I thought the story didn't have anything to tell and I didn't like the characters and their chemistry together!!!I didn't like it so much that I didn't even add it to my DNF shelf!

Sorry to hear about your reading block, have you tried reading something different then your normal types of books?

I've been spending a lot time here too, my fiance says I spend more time here and getting more books to read then I do reading. Lol. I can't help it this page is addicting.
