Lina | 5563 comments I'm trying to get through Loving Evangeline (Duncan & Evangeline, #2) by Linda Howard for one of my challenges, but I'm not really liking the main character, Robert. It's a bit of a slog at the moment.

It gets better, CaroB. It isn't the same as the first in the series, however.

I need to get to that one, Susan. I've read that series totally out of order and it is driving me crazy. I liked the series, but that was back in the days were I just picked up what the bookstore had. Though, I do have that one now.

message 582: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments Just finished reading I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier by Crystal Rose , since I'd missed the group's buddy read during the recent move. I must say, I was a little disappointed, but not from anything to do with the M/M aspect, didn't mind that at all, but the writing style left a lot to be desired. What did you all think of it? I wouldn't mind trying another m/m, might go with the Josh Lanyon one next.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments I'm kinda working on A Night Like This (Smythe-Smith Quartet, #2) by Julia Quinn though it's making me feel guilty because I started it before I wrote my review for the last book I read, and it's been a week since I finished it and I still haven't gotten more than a sentence or two written of it... I need to finish it, get my 'closure' before I can fully invest in this new book lol.
