Lina | 5563 comments I'm the same. I was reading (and really enjoying) Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee when I had a few busy days with the whole house selling and buying thing, and now I've lost momentum and can't seem to get back into it. I don't get it and it was stressing em out for a bit until I decided to just leave it for another little while and hopefully get back to it when the right mood strikes.

~Megan~ (megadee) I've read it CaroB...it's my favorite Kinsella book! Cracks me up every time! It's worth the read for the opening scenes alone. Total fluff!

Yes. I'm hoping to watch both, the 2011 and the 1980 versions. I feel like reading more of Le Carré now.

That's the only one I've ever read by her, and I'm not even a fan of contemps but I really liked that one, borrowed it from my stepmom a couple years ago. Made me lol more than once. :)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'm enjoying it so far. I had to laugh when Peabody got all offended that Eve wouldn't let her shop while they were out investigating and yet Eve bought a necklace and Peabody called her on it and Eve said she wasn't shopping, she just bought something LOL

message 472: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Yeah, that was funny, Susan! There is another funny shopping scene in Witness in Death (In Death, #10) by J.D. Robb when the two of them go into a store to buy an item own/made by one of Roarke's companies. LOL!

message 476: by ~Megan~ (last edited May 16, 2012 06:38PM) (new)

~Megan~ (megadee) Just finished Master of Crows by Grace Draven , which was highly enjoyable!

Debating on what to start next....there are books I want to read, but I just can't get in the mood to read them at this moment. Does that make sense?

Makes heaps of sense! I get like that from time to time and I hate it. Feels like a friend is out of town and I don't know what to do with myself. Best thing is to just take a break and get back to reading when you come across a book you can't stay away from :-) Or read a genre you don't read often and see how you go.

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) | 845 comments For those who are reading J.D. Robb, there is a yearlong challenge going on in another group. We are reading Holiday in Death (In Death, #7) by J.D. Robb this month.

Here's the link to the thread. Anyone is welcome to stop by and chat. We are very friendly!!

Also, has anyone in this group read Stephanie Laurens? I'm contemplating re- reading her Cynster series. Just curious.

message 492: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments I've read almost all of the Cynster novels, Leslie. I used to read Devil's Bride about one a year. I kind of lost track of the series in the last year or two... but I do have Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue I've been shuffling around in challenges.

Devil's Bride (Cynster, #1) by Stephanie Laurens Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue (The Cynster Sisters Trilogy #1) by Stephanie Laurens
