I'll post some thoughts once I've caught up in the group.I know a few groupites have read and enjoyed this book.
I read this last year too, and tbought it was excellent.
I was planning on reading this book next before getting stuck into my church book club book now I know I won't change my mind
Read this yesterday afternoon, my daughter recommended it to me some time ago. She had reviewed it for her YA book blog and has gone on to read the series. Not sure I will but I did enjoy it.
Read the book at the end of November, enjoyed it so much I read the rest of the trilogy.
I read the trilogy last year - the first one is probably the best I thought. I'll be interested to read people's opinions.

I just finished this last night. I had a migraine type headache so sat on the sofa all day and read my kindle with one eye. Loved it. Really keen to see what happens in the next one, when I first heard about the books I thought the 3rd book would be the games and the other 2 the build up to it. Like one huge story in 3 parts rather than sequels if you know what I mean.
I enjoyed the first book a lot and it reminded me of Battle Royale in many ways. It took a little while to get going for me but was written in a manner that made it still readable. I read the second book after but found it much of the same and so I wasn't so keen on that one.
I just started the 2nd Book and I'm hooked. It's taking all my will power not to start reading it at my desk

Read the trilogy and can say it was one of the best series I've read! I didn't quite understand the hype until I read them, and then I had the set finished in less than a week. :)
finished the 2nd book last night... apart from make dinner all I did was sit and read. Started the 3rd one now
alas, I read the whole series this summer one right after the other..and really enjoyed it! I think I left reviews here on goodreads when i finished.
First book is definitely the best. I felt as though the 3rd one ended very suddenly
I loved this. Finished it yesterday and straight away downloaded the second one. Am gonna try to read one of the other monthly books before starting on it though
I have to admit I am looking forward to the movie. I think it is the kind of story that (if directed well) could translate brilliantly to the big screen.

Finished this book yesterday and really enjoyed it. I also started the second in the series as I wanted to follow the story.
I have to say I'm a huge fan of Suzanne Collins and I too love her Gregor series, possibly slightly more than the Hunger Games, though they are for younger readers.
I read the series in the summer, l loved the first two books :) Third for me wasn't as good, but still enjoyed it.
I immediately read the second book after I finished the first one, but now I'm a little bit afraid of starting the third one, since I know it's the last one in this series and I really don't feel like saying goodbye to these characters yet...
Read the first 2 over again as if the 3rd one hasn't yetbeen released but will be soon!

I'm quite excited about this as am going to get it and save it for my holidays, Reading your reviews wont spoil it for me, its just so nice to save something I want to read for the occasion
