Yep, Humbert is that creep in Lolita:)Randle Patrick McMurphy - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (I love that character)
Quoyle
Actually, it's "The World According to Garp". Roberta Muldoon was formerly Robert Muldoon, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, then had sex-reassignment surgery after reading Garp's mother's book. I didn't know there was a Robert Muldoon in Jurassic Park! Peg, you go next.
I completely forgot about Garp! I think that Robert Muldoon is also the guy in Jurassic Park who thinks that the dinosaurs should be destroyed because of the threat they are to human life.Annie Wilkes
Sorry, I was distracted by "work."Parsifal is the magician in The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett
Sherwood Anderson's Winesburg, Ohio (??)
I cheated, I know, shame on me... Was this the short story you got the name from?
If Im right, how about:
Bob Arctor/Fred
(I was skipped when I put him down last time, sniff sniff)

P.S: Try to do the last character somebody put up. Don't post something until you put an answer to someone else's thing please. Keeps this thing going the right way.

In this version, a character name will be posted. If you know the name of the novel that character is from, post the answer, and then you list a new character name for us to post on....
Simple enough, right?
(just try to stay away from painfully obvious ones ex: Harry Potter or Odd Thomas -- character names that appear in the title of the novel....)
Heres an easy one to kick us off:
Holden Caulfield.
