Silence
question
Patch or Jev?

Which name do you like Nora using better? She uses Patch in the first two books and Jev in Silence kind of. I personally like her just using Patch.
Patch for me - it makes sense , he was a mix of personalities and emotions

aren't they the same people? But I guess Patch just sounds better...
Patch!! Jev sounds boring :P Patch is like KaBOOM..;)! Its different and i love it!!
I just got used to Nora calling him Patch, so when she called him Jev, it kind of got confusing... So I prefer her calling him Patch.
And to me, I don't feel like Jev fits... :P

I agree i preferred Nora using "patch" . However when Patch does agree with Noras biological dad , that its best for her to forget everything , he asked for him to erase any memory she has with patch. However patch still fells an attraction towards Nora , & he still feels a duty to protect her so when he comes back to nora he presents himself as "jev" . Jev then uses this to stay near her , without her having any clue that she already new him & had a past full of unbelievable
events .
events .
umm. The jokes on you, There the same person lmao, But if had to choose by the name, it would be Patch. It fits his character better.

Patch! Jev sounds just too safe... Patch has a little danger in him...
Well I think I would prefer Patch, as it adds to the mystery of who he is at the beginning of the series, and it is also how he introduces himself. But Jev is an attractive and hot name.
Jev sounds... Right for me. Mostly because "P" names sorta give me a slightly annoyed vibe. See, I have to call my friend Peyton "T" and Penelope "Nellie" - that's just me.

I would definitely say jev. patch can be a nickname .... but jev sounds better
I like Patch because now when I think of that name I think of a sexy guy with a dark past. the name just makes him, him. I think that maybe that if i ever meet a Jev, I never really like him that much because he'd never really live up to my expecations. So when I think of what we should call him, I pick Patch.
i like the name Jev but really they're the same person,it dosent which you call him.
patch
patch is his name in the first two books so i'm just used to that name!!!!!!!!!!!

i love her using patch, because it has so much history and humour matching their relationship, however the moments when nora does use jev i find it mysterious and romantic. i don't no which i prefer.

I looove Patch better, got a sexyness to it. Jev is kinda lame.
I didn't like 'Patch' from the beginning. I got used to it, so I don't have a problem with his nickname anymore. But the truth is Jev sounds more than great to me. It's one of my favorite names for boys.
I don't mind if Becca Fitzpatrick calls him either Patch or Jev, though.

i think i like him when he is Jev and i wished she continued useing Jev in the next one cause thats the name he said he was in this one
I like Jev better cuz he dosent tell his reall name to enyone is just them but I also like Patch cuz Patch sounds dengerous.
Jev sounds like a creeper i like patch better when i say jev it reminds me of that gabe guy from the second one. Or the third i dont remember
Jev was OK, but i much preferred 'patch', i just got used to it, and i found it mysterious in someways, as well as unique, i felt that it matched his personality more too :) even though i disliked the name at the start, same thing happened with the divergent series, i thought the name 'four' was ridiculous, but after reading just the first book, the name stuck and i preferred it more than his other name...wont's spoil for those who haven't read :)
Jev propably because it is something special to him. It's not just a nickname. In addition, he seems to prefer it too : that's why he wrote on the ring "Nora + jev" and not "Nora + Patch".
Well, I don't know. I like Patch, because it's his name when you 'meet' him and it's more badass, more like his dark side. In the beginning I was like 'Patch? What a stupid name', but now I like it pretty much, because, well he 'is' Patch.
When he told Nora his name was Jev my first thought was: OMG, I love that name. It's more intimate, because first he didn't tell his real name and when a charachter tells his real name after always being called as his nickname (<- I think this sentence has a horrible grammar, sorry for that, english isn't my 'first' language) it's just so ..... Well I think you know what I mean.
I just think both names suit him, Patch when he's the bad ass and Jev when he's sweet and sensitive and things (I like the Patch moments better ;) ).
If I just had to choose between Patch and Jev I would choose Jev, but if must choose a name for the-fallen-angel-patch/jev I think Patch is better, I don't really like that name, but it suits him better, it's more how he is. And I like Patch and Nora better than Jev and Nora. Jev and Nora just sounds very weird for me.
This is just my opinion, so the things I say aren't facts or something (I think everyone knows that, but I just wanted to mention it). Ohw and sorry if my grammar is bad, I'm not really good at english grammar and I'm too lazy to check everything on grammar.

Patch was weird at the beginning. But then I got used to it, I bet it would be the same with Jev. Jev just sounds more mature, more adult-like; Patch is more like a nickname (they both are...kinda). But I personally don't care, as long as he stays the way the books started...smart, sexy, mysterious, charming, masculine, and just plain hot. :]
Bottom line, in my mind, jev is a way sexier name. The name patch reminds me of patch's doucebaggery in crescendo. Jev is also reminds me of jem. And Jem carstairs is my one true fictional love.
Patch suits his character better as Jev acts like a completely different person. If maybe this series started off with the name Jev, I might like it but as this whole series has been using the name Patch and only used the name Jev very rarely I don't seem to complete agree with the name Jev.
