Lorena | 52 comments David wrote: "I started The Scorch Trials, it's amazing!!!"

Really...The Maze Runner was such a "guy's book" should I consider The Scorch Trials?

So far The Scorch Trials is similar in that it's a bunch of boys in another experiment but such a cool plot :) What do the girls think?

I will never understand "guy's" the plot was interesting but there was no knight in shinning armor

Some of my favorites with strong male and female roles:
Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) by Rick Riordan Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi Heist Society (Heist Society, #1) by Ally Carter Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) by Rachel Hawkins Infinity (Chronicles of Nick, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon Incarceron (Incarceron, #1) by Catherine Fisher

message 314: by Kendall (new)

Kendall Desin (kendalldesin) | 29 comments I really like the male characters in The Maze Runner. They're some of my favorite characters because they're really focused and strong. I actully prefer to read form a boy's point of view instead of a girl's because girls can sometimes annoy me. Girl's tend to be more focused on the romance and I sometimes just prefer the action and adventure parts.
