How many books are you in the middle of?

Sooo, how do you keep track of what's going on in each book or what books you are in the middle of?

I guess i've got a good memory. Although i can never remember any of my dreams.... anyway...idk, before i found goodreads, i have no idea....maybe cos then i didn't have as much homework so i had more time to spend on books.

I've also got a ton of manga i'm in the middle of reading too (by ton i mean 53). Not like waiting for the nxt volume to come out, just literally in the middle of the chapter kind of thing..... same with anime episodes....i can keep track of those with sticky notes though i usually don't bother writing the name of the anime so write now i've got a sticky note with

and i have no idea what any of them mean.... but who gives, when i come across the anime again, i can remember what they're for.
Example: 33:42 is for my English report video.....this is why everything gets so messed up! I mix all the extra stuff with important stuff....
21 11 is a manga chapter and page, chapter 21, pg 11(can't remember the manga though)

The thing is, i don't put any manga on goodreads. I try and keep my books and manga separate. I've also got goodreads to help me along with an awesome manga site htta helps me keep track of what manga i'm reading and an awesome ebook library. The paperback books im in the middle of just stay stacked on my beside table.....
I always get carried away in my comments.....soz :)

I have a tendency to take a break from books when I'm half way through with them. I don't know why that is. I guess I just need to be in the right mind frame to read a specific genre.

I'm the same if something else sparkly catches my eye I'm easily distracted if in not that in to a book. I'd say I've "started" about 17 books u could be 4 pages in or 19 chapters in. But I've found them meph and gotten distracted by a pretty pretty!

on the bright side, i've read 118 books and am 9 books ahead on my goal... :D
but i've really got to look for new series to get crazy about... my to-reada list has also fallen from 200 and something to a mere 39.....aroundabout..... :(

I just finished.... okay so it was like a day ago but who gives...... The Selection
First it seemed kinda weird but not that much..... but i love it!!!!!

I just realised, as book lovers/readers, we have a different sense of weird when it comes to weird..... or is it just me? Like, read the blurb of Partials..... NOW.

Okay so, I read it (the blurb i mean), sure, it was fine, a little strange but okay. Kinda excited to read it, seems good. OK. Let's start the book.

My friends on the other hand..... they stop once they approach the word 'pregnant'. WTF. WTH. Her Best Friends PREGNANT. What Type of Book IS THIS??? She's..... PREGNANT. And like.... 16! This is a reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllly weird book..... !??!?!!?!

I guess i'm really crazy or it just seems like you come across weirder situations in books and these just don't seem weird or something? Or they are weird but since you've come across weirder situations, you figure you might still like this book and just read.....

I always just start and finish, usually the same night. When a book is good I refuse to put it down. Now my own stories...that's another problem altogether. Have about five going now at same time. Just need to finish one!

I'm reading one book currently. I'm like Aileen. I read one book at a time and consume it the same day/night I buy it, usually. The longer it takes me to read a book, the worse I feel about it. The current book is about 2 weeks old -- but I'm reading a chapter or two between reading other more enjoyable books because I'm bound and determined to finish it!
