I've started listening to The Word for World Is Forest which I'm so excited about. This will be my third Le Guin book, after The Left Hand of Darkness (which is on the 100 list) and The Dispossessed. If I love this one, I reckon she'll make her way onto my favourite authors list!

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind is a great read. It is straightforward and makes you want to read more and more. Personally I relate heavily to the objective view in which he explains society.
Isa wrote: "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind is a great read.” That’s good to hear Isa, Sapiens is on my to-read list. A few years ago I was listening to a podcast talk about books they thought would change your life and that was one of them. Not sure I’m that interested in it anymore but will give it a try someday.
I just finished The Maidens by Michaelides. It was a page turner. If you like mysteries with psychological insight, this book is for you. I'm starting The Night Watchman by Erdrich.
Forgot to mention I bought 1984 about 2 days ago, I think I'm already past halfway now, looking forward to finishing it by tomorrow. Felt like sharing.
Isa wrote: "You definitely should. I think what they said is true, it's not the fastest read...”Haha I’ve definitely had books like that, that took me years to finish on and off. Good it’s worth the effort.
Celina wrote: "I’m about to start wuthering heights"I read Wuthering Heights in 2016 and loved it, though not sure that’s the best word when I said in my review I was “slightly disturbed” reading it. Have wanted to read it again since but still haven’t. How are you finding it so far?
