Woah! I haven't read it but eleanor and park was an amazing read.

I'm semi-new to the group. I recently finished Brave New World. I really enjoyed the book. My review of it book can be found here. It had a lot of parallels with Fahrenheit 451, which I read prior.
I just started on The Hobbit and How to Read Literature like a Professor.

There's an on going discussion of 1984 here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I invite you to add your thoughts.
I've been reading Philip. K. Dick's short stories lately. He is really great. I don't know how intoxicated one should be to write stories like he did.

Yes!! Also read that he was profoundly affected by the death of his twin sister.

There have been a number of movies made from his stories, not necessarily with the same name: Minority Report; Blade Runner; Total Recall.

and I am also currently reading Tunnel in the Sky by Heinlein, which I am really enjoying

I also just want to mention two books that I've recently finished that I absolutely loved and highly recommend

and also Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - Patrick Süskind

I'm finding Thud! very moving, it could be my second-favorite after Night Watch.

It is not a classic :), but it is very interesting reading, considering the current circumstances.

I just started reading Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood. My next book will be The Count of Monte Cristo.
