Which one?

I have both the infernal devices series and the other one by Cassandra Clare (can't think of the other series name) and I don't know which one to read first. Is there one I should read first so the other series would Make sense?

You could read either one first without spoiling the other. Though if you read the Mortal Instruments first you will recognize characters and family names that appear there.

The Infernal Devices is meant as a prequel; it doesn't matter either way. Both are wonderful series, enjoy! :D

I started reading the Infernal Devices first and I don't think I had any trouble with it.

It doesnt matter which one you read first. I read Clockwork Angel, City Of Bones, City of Ashes, City Of Glass, City Of Fallen Angels, then, Clockwork Prince. From now on, I'll just read them in publication order.
