Olivia Personally I think part 2 was a lot better! The first part was way too slow and it didn't seem to be going anywhere except in circles.

Aeva I think that the 2nd movie is better because it has more action and a better story line than the first which just seemed too drawn out to be entertaining.

Ashley I disagree. I think part 1 was better because it actually kept to the book's story line. Part 2 deviated too much for me.

Heather I wish they would have been combined into one movie, because by the time Part 2 came out, I couldn't remember what was and wasn't in Part 1. I can't decide which I like better though.

Rachel part 2 i liked part 1 but part 2 blew me away :) though i love the book the best :) anyone with me?????

I agree completely :)

Lara Part Two. :)

Andry Chang definitely 2. the first part is dragging...

Kat Aklysm I'd have to go with part one... but this is also in relation to the book... I felt the ending went WAY too fast, just like the movie. From a technical perspective, I felt the editing in the second half was horrid; I was extremely disappointed.

I can understand the feeling that it went fairly slow, but so did the book in that particular section. She was tying up loose ends in some ways, but I felt the want to see the second half was certainly still there in relation to the second part..
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's just my impression.

Elena Love i think that the second part of the movie was a lot better than the first...of course the end of the movie wasn't similar with the end of the book but they were both AMAZING...:)

Sonia Jarmula I don't understand why everyone I know hates Part 1. I did love Part 2, but I really, really don't get why people can't get through their brains that Harry Potter isn't all about action-it has to much about figuring things out, relationships, fear, and decision making. All of that was beautifully illustrated in Part 1. The acting-superb. The suspense-incredible. The themes and emotions and everything about it was perfectly done, and while it was not the most quickly moving, it was probably the most beautiful of the films because of all that I mentioned. Each frame of the film was exquisite, artfully done. It truly saddens me that people cannot see it, cannot see beyond its slower, incredibly well-developed plot and emotions, particularly people on Goodreads.

Jazz I actually loved Part 1 while just liked Part 2. Part 1 is my favorite movie of the series. I thought Part 2 was a little too fast to really sit back and enjoy. I think I'll enjoy it much more when I sit back and watch Part 1 and Part 2 together as one extremely long movie.

Britnie Part 1. I loved part 2 for Snape's story line, which I think they nailed. Both were great but part 1 was just amazing.

Gaby TWO! Less drama. More like the end of the book! LOVED the epliogue!

Proathlete16 Part 2, but only because there was the big war between Hogwarts and Voldemort.

Beth 2 definitely. Part 1 was just way too dramatic and they still kinda messed it up...

Nicole Rusli Part 2 all the way. All the fights and the deaths really moved me.

Jay part 2

Vymletoza sadly, I have to say first. I don't know, remember the ministry of magic scene? my hearth was going to stop. and in the second movie, the gringots scene: I was really excited about this particular scene, because I remember how I felt when I read it, but it was so short. another thing is that I cried in the first movie more. by scenes that weren't in the book!!!! I like to cry by movies. in the first 5 minutes: hermiony taking memories from parents and Snape and the mugglestudies teacher: "we are friends"-god, that was a great scene. what I didn't like in the second movie was they didn't include Fred and Percy. and I seriously disliked Snape's memories (this is probably the biggest reason), although little Snape was cute. of course, there are great scenes too: Neville (all the scenes with him), McGonnagal, the silent scream by Voldy (scary and sad).... but I still have to say the first one. (don't hate me, but I liked the harry x hermione dance. there, I said it...)

Jasen Fonnesbeck I liked the second part better just because of the battle.

Marshall part 2

andrea pacheco part 2 was a lot better.

BubblesTheMonkey parte dos

Breanna part two for sure

Silena Styles Part twoooo. Epic final:')

Cliona Part 2!! Epic! part 1 was boring and about 1/2 of it was just them in tents in the forest doing nothing! This book (and part 2) is so much more exciting!

Ciara I loved both, and I don't see how every-one hates Part 1! Think about it; do you hate the first half of the book? Or just the film? Or both? :)

They were DEFINITELY not doing nothing. Do you think that they could have possibly defeated Voldemort if they just rushed in with wands, unarmed intellectually? They had to prepare, figure things out! A battle against evil can't be won solely through fighting, Part 1 did an excellent job showing that, I'm sad that you can't appreciate it.

I like part 2 better. it had a LOT more action. I still LOVED Part 1!!!

Alya Definitly Part 2!
It made up for the horrible excuse of an adaption from the Half-Blood Prince movie. (My favorite book... The worst movie!)
Part 1 was great aswell but I felt that it was too long. It got very boring at times and was confusing to those who haven't read the books... I had to explain almost every part to my siblings who haven't read the books.
Though Im real glad the decided to split the book into two movies. I really dont see how they would've pulled it off it was just one movie.

Emily :) i think that part one was way better. The second was good but if you read the books then it ruins the second the movie almost entirely. the beginning is good but the big battle at the end could have been like way better.

I agree! I think the second part made Neville a lot less heroic and did the book no justice. I do think the first part kind of dragged along but I was still on the edge of my seat!(:

I agree Emily!(: And the weird part with Harry and Voldemort flying... That NEVER happened... And Harry used the wand to fix his Phoenix Tail, but in the movie he just snapped the wand...

Kaleigh - Captain Bubbles ESTP(intj) The 2nd part was better.
