@Shay - I'm honored by your very kind words. You are correct about Royce being the baby the Gaunt's mother saved. When Arcadius came to Ratibor (and started poking around) she abandoned him on the street (because she was afraid others would come looking and her secret would eventually be revealed. Royce should have died as a baby, but someone came along and got him to an orphanage. I think you might be able to figure out who that was ;-)

I am halfway through Rise of Empire and iam getting a bit uncomfortable because I don't like my main characters falling in love 😑 My question is will Hadrian and Arista end up together in future books? Give to me.. I don't mind spoilers when it comes to this.
