DORK DIARIES vs. DIARY OF A WIMPY KID....
I don't know what I would pick....... bouth books are really good but some people say that diary of a wimpy kid is for boys and dork diaries is for girls, but i dont agree!
I would choose Diary of a Wimpy Kid!!!

I find Dork Diaries much funnier and more enjoable than Diary of a Wimpy kid.

I liked both. Dork Diaries is MORE for girls( not just for girls), but diary of a wimpy kid is for everyone. I have to say that I like dork diaries a bit better. It's so dramatic and crazy. It's more like a story than a diary while diary of a wimpy kid is more a diary.
I would say...... Dork Diaries! I like the book way better then Diary of a Wimpy kid. Way better

For me the choice would be Dork Diaries because I don't like Wimpy Kid. I can't stand how Greg treats his "friend" Rowley and I fail to see the humor of that sitution since I did know a guy like Rowley. However I am suprised that you there is no mention of Dear Dumb Diaries. That is actually my favorite of the diary books and is closer to being a girl version of Wimpy Kid. Though it is scary how well Jim Benton understands middle school girls. I also love how though Jamie view Angeline as THE ENEMEY. Angeline views Jamie as a friend.
Though I like Dork Diaries Nikki is my least favorite character. She is bit too much of a marshmellow for my tastes and she never seems to learn to believe in her friends or trust that Brandon really has figurared out MacKenize. My favortie character out all the books is Isabella. She has an unique mind and she can stand up for herself.
I have learned to make peace with Wimpy Kid and used it it to form a library program on writing in journals. I did though have to bring in Big Nate to balance off Wimpy Kid. I then used Dumb Diaries and Dork Diaries to make a Diary program.

So is Nikki, though. The difference is that Greg was funny.
They are both funny but I would choose Dork Diaries because it is more for girls but that leads me too I think Diary of a Wimpy Kid is more for everyone where as Dork Diaries singles out boys so... In my personal opinion, DORK DIARIES wins!

nikki is a real loser, always fumbling with things. i dont think i prefer a girl so klutzy.

No offence but i have to say, dork diaries is sort of like a copycat version of Diary of a Wimpy KId, and yes, Diary of a Wimpy Kid was published before Dork diaries did, so i would totally choose Wimpy kid :))

Well, sometimes I can't stand the fact that Dork Diaries is copying Diary of a Wimpy Kid
