I hate dork diaries they are copycats. diary of a wimpy kid is really cool.dork diaries is just lame.what is so special about dork diaries???Diary of a wimpy kid was published before dork diaries.just to be honest they are the same the only thing is that diary of a wimpy kid is a girls and boys version dork diaries is for girls and I do not undersatnd why everyone likes dork diaries. in my school no one would bring dork diaries I only see people carring diary of a wimpy kid. I am sorry to say that to the dork diaries fans.

there's nothin' like copycat or whatev bcoz there is also dear dumb diary or maybe some other books but it isn't copied by diary of a wimpy kid first read and find the huge difference between both the books!!

I first read diary of a wimpy kid I loved it a lot then my friend suggested Dork Diaries I loved it too. Therefore, I'm a fan of Jeff and Rachel. They have awesome imagination.

Also diary of a wimpy kid movie was by Jeff Kinney and already released it first,too.

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID!!!!!!!!!!! It is WAY funnier, better, more enjoyable and entertaining. Dork diaries are terrible. I read the first, second and third, it stinks. Wimpy kid is better. Plus, the first wimpy kid was published before the first dork diaries, so I conclude that dork diaries might have copied wimpy kid. Plus, wimpy kid is for girls and boys where as DD is more for girls. WIMPY KID! WIMPY KID!

Dork diaries for sure. It's much more detailed then Wimpy Kid and the books are actually related to one another. And also, I like it more because Nikki's life actually progresses. In Wimpy Kid, Greg's been writing journals for two, three years, and he still hasn't made any progress in his life. In Dork Diaries, Nikki's been writing for less than a year, and she's already starting to progress. (She and Brandon are getting closer and I think that in the next book she and Maceknzie are gonna become friends. Greg, however, is just the same wimp from book 1, and hasn't really changed at all.)
