I think she would have to change a lot of things in the 3rd book to make a fourth one. And what would it be about? A new war or rebellion? Nothing really czay could happen. And I wouldn't like it because I like Gale not Peeta. It would just be a werid book.
Prequel!!! Haymitch!!! You'd know the ending kinda, but it would be interesting!!!Or the rebellions to start the game. But i think it's best left alone, i think to many people would feel like she was trying to make money off of the hunger games just for the heck of it.

Yeah, I think a prequel would be best. I honestly think it would be awesome if she wrote about the very first game, although honestly the series is fine as it is now.
However, I don't think there'd be a lot to write about if she made a sequel (or a fourth book, I guess, whatever they're called?) to Mockingjay. I mean, I honestly think that the ending was perfect, and it'd be pretty hard to write about Katniss when she's so messed up...
i don't think there should be a book after mockingjay.She already wrote an epilogue so I really think we should be content with that. It ended happily, it was a great story, time to move on :)
A prequel sounds promising, but ehhh I'd rather not. Of course I'd read it but I like happy endings and that is extremely unlikely to happen in any kind of prequel.
the only thing I could see that might work, would be a story about the initial revolution and what led up to the games
she wrote a great ending, but I wanna know the story behind most characters :)

A really good way for her to catch her fans attention would be to start off the books with Peeta again,you know like first the crush and then the two games, the torture in the Capitol and THEN he can go do whatever he wants with the freakin' idiot!I'd swear worse but i have a feeling that wont help.That's the main reason why I started wring the book already myself. If you wanna see,you can check out 'The Crush', I just wrote Chapter 1 according to me with some help from my sister.I think Chapter 2 will be about the bread.....
it would most likely be about peeta and katniss and their kids. it would have more explanation of the capitol hunger games. and gale. this is just what i think, but if she wrote another hunger games, someone might die of old age, someone very important.....
No sequel. The ending to Mockinjay was perfect, it was happy...to an extent. But I felt satisfied with it and there isn't anymore to tell really. However a prequel about the first rebellion or how Panem came to be, yeah I'd be up for that. I think any world building sort of books would be good as long as they're set before The Hunger Games.

you spelled beginning wrong (no offense). and i think it would make a perfect book. of course a professional writer can take any subject or topic and make it into a wonderful story.
I agree that, if anything, it should probably be a prequel. It was my understanding that the Capitol Hunger Games weren't going to happen after the assassination of President Coin.
i wish the end of hunger games would be different. like, maybe gale keeps contact with katniss and they become close family friends when older. or katniss's mother creates the hospital in district 12. and i wish they would make a direct statement: peeta and katniss FULLY recover after the war. (wasn't it confusing and sad?)another thing i found annoying was that katniss didn't just choose peeta or gale. she was giving BOTH of them affection which means a broken heart later on in the story....

If she were to write a new book I would like it to start with Katniss waking up from a really long and vivid dream (entitled Mockingjay).
