SOLVED. a children/young adult book about kidnapping but they escape [s]

im not sure of the title or author but its where 2 boys get into a strangers car, both thinking its a friend of the other person and they get kidnapped. on the way they eat sweets provide and one gets sick. when they get there they are separated. one gets torchered or injured so its up to his friend whos also trapped to rescue him. they hid in a shed and then escape under the fence. the last chapter says something like they could never talk about it again to anyone (there might be something about a CD but i could be wrong)
please help me out i really want to read it again.

not sure of the country it's set in, published 2000 onwards, i read it between 2006 - 2009. it was in the young adults section
