Jem, Sophie, and Gideon

WOAH!

I was so expecting Tessa to be with Will by the end of the book.

Then Sophie would be with Jem.

But I guess I'm not very good at predicting...

I like the idea of Sophie and Gideon and I LOVE Will and Tessa. Everything's complete except for the fact that who's Jem going to be with?

SO MANY DIFFERENT POSSIBILITIES WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN?

Anyone else's thoughts?

I definitely want Tessa to be with Will, but where would that leave Jem? Honestly, I think he's going to die or something.. I hope he won't though and would just find someone else to love.

But the idea of Sophie and Gideon, for me, was sweet. It was unexpected but I think that Gideon truly likes Sophie and I think that Sophie deserves that much after everything she's been through...

I'm confused and I seriously don't know what to expect right now especially from Miss Clare. She's the queen of twists and unexpected outcomes... But I'm sure there'll be a good ending to the series. I can't wait for Clockwork Princess!

I just finished reading this book about 5 minutes ago and I'm so upset that I have to wait now for Clockwork Princess. I love both Jem and Will and I want both of them to be happy...this ending has totally just thrown me for a loop.

I think if Jem died it would be too expected for Cassandra Clare's style. (Hopefully that doesn't mean Will will die.) Clare said that she thought who Tessa would or would not end up with would be "a surprise" to the readers, though, and I can't claim to like the sound of that . . . : {

I loved Gideon and Sophie together.. I didn't want her to end up with Jem.. because it'd feel as if they only ended up together because Jem couldn't have Tessa and Sophie deserves more than being second best to some other girl.
I think that Sophie might do that test thing that could change her into a shadowhunter.. because she feels that she can't be with Gideon because she's a maid so if she were to become a shadowhunter like the rest of them she'd feel more equal to them. I don't think Gideon cares that Sophie is a maid and from a lower class background but Sophie seemed to have an issue with their 'social differences'.

I think you are right. That's the way I imagined. With super sad moment of death for Jem that I probably won't stop crying for an entire day or more

My friend said the same thing. I would just feel sad for Jem if he ended up alone. I want him to be happy too. Lol

But judging from the fact that Cecily is Will's sister, Will is overprotective of his sister and having your parabatai who is 17 take control over his 15 yr old sister is odd. Plus these are Nephilim they absolutely hate mundanes even though they protect them and find many of their rituals and ways wrong.

They dont hate mundanes they just scorn them sometimes I just think by the end cecily and jem might like eachother like maya liked simon and simon liked maya...

Sophie is different she has the Sight and she does not showcase the greed and dirtiness real Londoners have. I just don't find Jem the type to fall in love with Cecily, I only find him the type to love Cecily as if she was his sister. And by the end of CoFA Simon and Maia are just friends since Kyle came back.

Jem knows he'll die and Cassie is kinda making it obvious that he'll die in the end or make some other twist. He won't be alone he has Tessa for the time being.

oh gosh... say if tessa doesnt end up with will? i cant see her ending up with jem... but maybe thats the suprise *pulling my hair out now* or maybe its a suprise that she ends up with will becase she married jem and you think its all over and then BAM! will says to tessa.. i cant live without you and she says... i feewl the same way... oh no! *sob* i need you clockwork prince!

Honestly....I was glad that she ended up with Jem at the end. I think they're adorable...I love the Tessa/Jem match much better than the Tessa/Will.
