I hate how I'm lazy beyond all imagining.

I cleaned my room a couple of weeks ago and a plant I threw away slid out of the garbage bag and made a little pile of dusty dirt by my bedroom door. I have wooden floors; all I need to do is sweep it! Instead I step around it every day.

I really don't understand it. I think it's a bad sign. I'm incapable of sweeping it up.

I wait until the trash is piled a foot above the rim of the waste basket before taking it out to the trash can.

My husband and I had our condo on the market for eight months. It was eight months of non-stop cleaning, which is difficult with a shedding dog and a two year old boy. But we took the condo off the market ten days ago. Dishes have piled up for ten days. No vacuuming or swiffering has been done for ten days. Ten days worth of grime in the tub can be seen. Ten days of dust over all wooden surfaces, except where there are two-year old's finger prints. It's a wonder I managed to empty the diaper pail. I need to clean on my day off tomorrow, or social services my come and take my boy away for living in squalor.

I'm glad my wife is a clean freak. I don't have to worry about these problems. I hate messes too, but I hate cleaning more. thankfully I can outlast my wife's disgust. Another thing to be thankful about is she quit giving me shit about leaving little trails all around the house. She can be gone all day long and accurately dictate everywhere in the house I have been that day. Amazing
