very handy to have this book site.

I also finished Wrath of the Furies

I'm moving on to

Happy dances over The Golem and the Jinni.
Enjoy!

Excellent, 4.75 stars rounded up. A must read for WWII enthusiasts
Currently read Nelson DeMille's latest John Corey thriller

Wow, that's such a great book, hope you'll enjoy it.
I just finished Genghis: Lords of the Bow, and loved it. Almost as good as #1 in this series, Genghis: Birth of an Empire. I'll definitely continue reading the series, this Genghis was an amazing character.

Book one of the Ian Rutledge series:

Started

Waiting for Sweet Ruin

May start...

Or rather resume it after a biiiig pause

Really quick read - standard John Corey novel, except he is after the Russians and not Jihadists - 3.25 stars
Currently reading Ian Toll's new NF book on WW II in the Pacific

and

Can't wait to get to Bazaar but I have to wait because I think I might be getting it for Christmas....

Yes, good books, most of the characters are pure evil :S

Me too! Totally digging the Stuarts right now! :)

I'm moving on to The Lady in the Tower and All Roads Lead to Murder: A Case from the Notebooks of Pliny the Younger

I'm starting the latest Matthew Bartholomew mystery

If you're enjoying Elizabeth I, two of Margaret George's other books are on sale (in the US) in e-book ..."
I enjoyed Henry VIII by Margaret George. Her book on Cleopatra is also good. I haven't read the Mary Queen of Scots book yet. Her books are large and full of detail. In the Henry VIII book, Catherine Howard's part comes with some detail that is quite intimate. :)

That sounds interesting. We watched a film about him in high school.

I previously read and loved Pompeii by Robert Harris. This one examines the life of Cicero as told by his slave scribe. Wonderful..."
I also enjoyed Pompeii. I may have to check this book out.

I'm starting The Empty Mirror.

Had to lighten up after that so I ventured into Christopher Moore's Pine Cove Series: Practical Demonkeeping, The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove and The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror.
Greatness.
Now I'm reading Queen Hereafter: A Novel of Margaret of Scotland.

Edit: I guess I have it on my TBR but I am still not sure about reading it. The whole Macbeth thing doesn't really spark my interest. Shakespeare has got to be one of the main reasons I couldn't bring myself to be an English major.

Edit: I guess I have..."
If I've got the timeline right...and it's a bit confusing..it looks like this takes place after Malcolm Canmore has killed MacBeth and taken back the throne. I don't know a lot about this period of history and am only a few chapters in but i'll let you know :D

Edit: I guess I have..."
Funny, I've developed a love for Shakespeare, as long as I don't have t read it :)
We've been going to the local Shakespeare Festival every summer for about 10 yrs now. Every yr they do a history a comedy and a tragedy. This yr is Henry V for the History
