Are you saying the books haven't been published yet? I ask because Goodreads isn't a bookseller; it's more like a library. Any book that has been published (or is even about to be published) is fair game for being catalogued here. For that reason, books aren't usually deleted. Once they're entered into the database (by the author or someone else), they stay.

As for your other profile, I have no idea what to do about that. Someone else will have to answer that question.

Not in this thread. I was responding (or thought I was responding) to someone in another thread. I'd wondered what had happened to that post since it didn't show up when I refreshed the page, but you had already responded to the request while I was typing mine so I didn't worry about it. Have no idea how the comments got here though since I hit the reply button and not just the post one when I was trying to answer the question. Sorry for the confusion. :o(

Looking for a delete for The Great and Secret Show to merge it into the main record.

It looks to me like it was added as an alternate cover entry for the original The Great and Secret Show entry. However, the cover for that edition was actually wrong (it was the cover from a book of chorus lyrics instead). I've removed that cover and replaced it with the cover from my copy of that edition. However, now they are actually the same cover so there doesn't seem any point keeping the alternate cover entry...

I've separated the two entries into their own work for now and can re-combine once the delete/merge is completed.

Author edited from James Wallace to Jim Wallace, combined. That edition exists on Worldcat (under James Wallace).

That's a perfectly valid edition. That publisher repackages/rebinds books for libraries, and assigns new ISBNs when doing so.
