Right now I'm reading Deja Dead, by Kathy Reichs. I like a good mystery. And also The Elizabethan Renaissance: The Life of the Society, by A. L. Rowse. Very interesting. (I'm taking an enrichment class on the Plantagenets and Tudors, and though we have no required reading, I kinda got inspired.)
Right now I am reading
A Wrinkle in Time
and
The Thirteenth Tale
They are both pretty good so far.

I am beginning Sitting Practice by Caroline Adderson. it was recommended by a friend.
I started a book called "Erec Rex: The Dragon's Eye" by Kaza Kingsley . It is the first book of the series.
I am currently reading Still Growing, a memoir by Kirk Cameron. I am really enjoying it, as it is nice to see one child star who grew up with a normal, down to earth family, and didn't turn into what we keep hearing about in the news today. It makes me understand why I had such a crush on him as a teen.
I'm gonna continue with "Uglies" by Scott Westerfeld and I am also gonna start reading the second book of the Erec Rex series, "Erec Rex:The Monsters of Otherness" by Kaza Kingsley
walking the trail by jerry ellis about his walk from oklahoma to georgia (the trail of tears in reverse) to honor the cherokee nation who were forced by the u.s. gov't to relocate from their ancestoral home in the southeastern mountains of georgia, alabama, tenn and north carloina in 1838
4 thousand died on the trail
great concept but the book is sort of...uh..not great...not terrible...but almost not good to sort of bad
too personal? not such great writing, not such great insight

I'm reading The Time Traveler's Wife and so far so good, I sit here "working" and can't wait to get back to it. Look forward to discussing it with you all at some stage over the next couple of months.
Eat, Pray, Love is what I'm enjoying right now. Just finished Stephen King's Duma Key which has inspired me to write more than read these days.
Who Moved My Blackberry by Lucy Callowayreally funny so far about a corporate employee and his emails to his wife, kids, co employees, and his life coach (Pandora)
everything is email communiques and main character is kind of a Ricky Gervais guy in a big organization
if U like British sense of humor, u'll like it
only heard 1 disc out of 6 so far and wonder if it can stay as funny as it is through 6 discs but has gotten even funnier as get to know more about various characters and their foibles
good spoof on life coaches
I'm currently reading The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz. It's very good. I'm about halfway through and I have to say it's very well written and funny as hell in parts. Sort of Get Smart in a book form, but there are more than one Max. This is the first of 2, I can't wait to see where she goes in the second book.
I'm a thriller fan and I'm reading Colin Forbes at the moment though I'm into Jeffery Archer as well... I want to start Ayn Rand soon so could someone tell me if they liked him???
Hi everyone...I am currently reading "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. I've almost finished it, and I have absolutely loved every word of it. It is an incredibly satisfying and creative take on a horrific event in our history (Hitler's Nazi reign). Somehow, incredibly, Zusak has been able to inject levity into this dark tale, employing Death as its narrator, who tells the story of a young girl's struggle to understand the horrors and sadness she confronts.
I am currently reading "Kiss Me Tomorrow" By Susan Shreve. I just got it yesterday! I go to the book store and get more and more books whenever I can. Which would be like once a week! My friends hate it and say that they are going to give the book store my description! Oh, and I need to read "Blue Bloods" because thats what my book club is reading. And thanks for telling me that "The Book Thief" is a good book. I saw it at the store and didn't know if I should get it or not.
I am trying to Read Atonement by Ian Mc Ewan. I am having a difficult time of it. I am 1/2 way into it and I cannot get into the characters or the style of writing. I may give it up. has any one else had a problem with this book?
just started HOSPITAL by Judy Salamonvery interesting book about how a hospital in Brooklyn works, the personalities, the stresses and how things work/don't work
author is very insightful, imaginative and perceptive and luckily will be in Columbus next week for book tour I guess
read 100 pages so far and can't wait to get back to it
Just finished The Horse, the Wheel, and Language, which is about the Proto-Indo-Europeans, and interesting, but a bit boggy in the middle.Next up on the history front is Love and Louis XIV, by Antonia Fraser, and on the fiction side it's still The Winthrop Woman, by Anya Seton, and Paper Doll, by Robert B. Parker.
I'm done reading "Kiss Me Tomorrow" it only took me like 3 or 4 days, because I was busy. Now I'm reading "Bra's and Brooomsticks" By Sarah Mlynowski. And soon I will be reading "Blue Bloods"
oh i just read blue bloods. personally i hated it, but that's just me... lol. :D anyway, i'm reading kira-kira... idk who the author is. ??? i'm forgetting her name right now. hmmm
Well, I can't really get into "Blue Bloods" yet so. I havn't finished reading Bra's and Broomsticks" but I got two more books at Barns and Nobles (a.k.a. HEAVEN!) and am now reading "If We Kiss" and "Maggie Bean Stays Afloat"
just started FREEDOM AT MIDNIGHT book about the British relinquishing control over India in late 1940s
also about Gandhi/India's culture/classes/the English dynamic
very comprehensive all around view of both cultures and the people involved
very interesting and informative about a historical time that few of my history classes ever got to
I just started "Bright, Shiny Morning" by James Frey. I was not one of the people who were outraged by "A Million Little Pieces" being a work of fiction. I thought it was an entertaining book. I am only about 100 pages into this one, but so far it is fascinating. I don't want to put it down at night. Good thing - because it is due back at the library in less than a week!
I am reading (about halfway through) The Queen's Man: A Medieval Mystery, by Sharon Kay Penman. I'm enjoying it so far. Unfortunately, it's not very long - 270 pages.
I am currently reading "The Friday Night Knitting Club" its an ok read for a "filler" or a break book
I am reading Stolen Innocense by Elissa Wall - Its about a girl inte FLDS Polygamous Sect and how she got away from Warren Jeffs.....I have to admit I had my doubts but I and really finding this book very interesting. There are so many erie similarities to this "cult" as there are to scientology.
yesterday i started reading Unwind by Neal Shusterman (don't know if i spelled that right... ?) it's pretty exciting so far. i like it :D
Currently re-reading Yesterday by Lars Saabye Christensen. One of my favorite authors.
