Yes, it is actually me. This is the first I've been on GoodReads in I can't even tell you how long. I've had some others hijack my account from time to time to do some postings but it hasn't been me.
I'll write more about that elsewhere but I just wanted to wave hi to all the new folks.

Thanks Jeanne and Heather. Well I just finished Avempartha and LOVED IT! On to Nyphron Rising I say. I'm so happy to have stumbled onto this series Royce and Hadrian are such fun to read and I'm fascinated by Esrahaddon and "what's up with him."
Welcome Adam! Glad you are enjoying the series.I loved Avempartha. And I loved Nyphron Rising for different reasons. I really enjoyed the way Michael is able to keep the underlining plot going with a little different feel in each book. Makes if feel all new again without repeating the same thing over and over.

Hello! Thank you Jim for telling me about this group. I actually started the series because of Robin's amazing support for Michael's work over at the Fantasy Book Club. I voted for it to be book of the month hoping it would win so I would HAVE to read it (I put books off sometimes since I have so many on my tbr list). Right now I just finished Nyphron Rising and I absolutely loved it! Arista's character growth was astounding and I enjoyed every detail of it. Now I am starting The Emerald Storm. :)

Just came from a book club and we discussed how this series really has 4 main characters: Hadrian, Royce, Arista and Modina but when it starts out it seems to be just a Royce/Hadrian series.

Woohoo!! I'm new to Goodreads and didn't even know there were such things as author groups - I have to leave for work soon but I'll be exploring a lot later. I just wanted to say that this is my favorite series - I can't wait for the last book!

I am new to this site, almost. I have been a member but have hardly been able to get on. I enjoyed the series and will be sad to see them end. I loved every character that was written in them. I grew to feel sorry for Ballentyne and Merrick and cried when Hilfred lost to the seret. I have laughed, cried, bitten my nails, and gasped as I read through these series. My family looks at me crazy when I do, because there are not a lot of books that I connect to with that way.
Hello everyone! Today I received my copy of Theft of Swords and as a way of celebrating I joined the group! Of course I 've already read Viscount and the Witch and Michael's writing really got me! Btw Michael and Robin have been very friendly and they really care about their readers!
I was also looking forward to the weekend but my wife snatched it from me!Seeing how enthousiastic I was about the series she decided to give it a go despite her not being a fantasy fan. Hope she likes it!

Hi! I just finished the series this week after starting it on my vacation... it's tough to be on a trip when all you want to do is sit and read! I really enjoyed it, although I was worried that it was going to have a bad ending. I suppose it WAS bad in the sense that there can't be any more in the series, but I was concerned that either Royce or Hadrian would die. Thanks for giving me a wonderful new series to enjoy!

Hey, I'm Scott :) I read both the Riyria Revelations and Chronicles a couple of months ago, but thought I would join here as I enjoyed them so much and would like to keep up to date with what's happening with the series.
Hello everyone, my name is Phillip. I just finished a month long Riyria journey. It has been so long that I have found an author that allows me to become so involved in the world and characters of their books. Thank you Mr. Sullivan. I purchased all the books in audio format and had to find ways to drive my car (bluetooth is awesome) because I could not stop listening to them. Mr. Sullivan, the narrator, Tim Reynolds, was fantastic and he delivered your world beautifully.I joined the group hoping to stay in touch for future books and maybe a chance to become a Beta reader.

With that I am in the middle of Volume 6 and have thoroughly enjoyed the series. I'm glad that you have written two other volumes on Royce and Hadrian and hope that you write more in the Riyria world. I have now purchased Hollow World, and look forward to reading it soon.

Well I finished and left a review. What a great series, really enjoyed it. I'm glad that I have two, now three Chronicle stories to read.
Right now I am starting Hollow World by Michael as well.

Hello all, I've just finished devouring all things Riyria with plans to listen to the audiobooks soon. I've got to say these books are quite a refreshing change of pace from a lot of the fantasy that's being put out now. While I don't shy away from the dark, gritty, and somewhat obscene stuff that is popular today, I love seeing a series that stands out without going down those paths.

For the rest of you, Melissa is someone who found Crown and did a wonderful review on her blog which I found by accident and replied to. She asked to interview me for her site and since then Melissa has become something of a Riyria Cheerleader. I've found her posting very nice comments nearly everywhere on the net. I'm not sure how I rate such generosity on her part, but it is fantastic find.
